I would rather meet our enemies on foreign soil, than to fight them here at home. The other problems I have with Ron Paul is his belief that all illegal drugs should be made legal, including cocaine and heroin. And his belief we need to legalize prostitution. He thinks we can safe money on law enforcement if we legalize all the things that are illegal now. Like I say. Ron Paul is a nut.
@BarryRucker Our "enemies" are usually third world countries without an air force, so the thought that they could pose a threat is preposterous and an insult to our military. Our navy and air force is number one, no one will touch us, not Russia, Korean, or Chinese. If all our troops are at home, then the enemy would have to fight an abroad, overseas war, which would not end up well for them, so they wouldn't attack us in the first place. The only people that want to attack us are our victims.

Just a comment, because I am surprised no one has even talked about this....but do you realize that IF RP gets elected, when he takes office he will be 77 Years Old??? and conclude his term at 81??? ...making him the oldest President ever elected!! Don't be fooled by their show debates about military cuts, especial those old boys club which controlling GOP. I'll vote for Ron Paul but he will lose in Republican if he talks about military cuts. The party is only a war slave, not a democracy.

Those war sellers has been using religious/terrorist (who're actually from the payroll of our secrete agencies) as an excuse all over mass media to make offensive wars for over decade already. Going broke is nothing for them. They all hided their accounts overseas long ago. Foreclosures, unemployment and unrest worked for dark era dictators in history for elites creating more manipulations in any population. Repeating bad histories can keep you venerable so you have to take whatever they offer.

If you can, image how much better a nation we would have in the year 2020 if Ron Paul were president for 8 years...Liberty restored, monetary policy fixed, wasteful and oppressive institutions dismantled, taxes @ 0%, freedom of individual choice and responsibility promoted, unemployment under 3%, safety for our troops by bringing them all home, illegal/endless wars stopped, the list goes on and on...

If Paul doesn't get the nominee, I'm not voting at all. Anyone but Ron will send us to a great depression and/or another useless war, and I won't share any responsibility doing that. It's bad enough my taxes are going towards useless wars, much less pick an ignorant commander-and-chief.

That is what I did for the last election - I could not force myself to vote for either candidate on the ballot - Unfortunately , being from MA , unless you vote Democrat, your vote does not count . I like Ron Paul's idea ( 99% of them acutally !) , about eliminating the electoral college and letting the people's votes rule .
