  • If I'm not mistaken the actual name of that tune is, "The Road To Skye."

  • the song their playing is trouble in the kitchen

  • How well done is this? Very, I'd say. Love the fiddler's grasp of the music. Nice shooting also folks. A youtube video you actually learn something from. Good musicians. Serious musicians. Would be nice to see a box in there (maybe let the guitar player take a vacation. ;-))

    Any pipers in OZ?

  • I know a bit of a self-trainee down here who plays the pipes. He's American but lives here for now. Yeah this group is great. His has to be the best explanation of Irish music I've ever heard. Does anyone know the name of the tune they're playing?

  • The guitar player (Kate Burke) is one of Australia's most respected players and singers, she has a gorgeous voice and is in a duo with Ruth Hazelton... supreme sound over all. She also plays Concertina quite well.

Ado (fiddle player) and Kate performed at the National Folk Festival (Australia) last year with Andy Irvine. It was one of the most remarkable concerts I have ever been to. If there was a youtube clip of any of that concert it would be well worth watching! :)

  • And...how does this relate to the title??

  • Thats the name of the band. They're brilliant.

  • Ohhh ok lol

  • My sister Caroline Frawley was in the band with them!
