sushi is addicting and you literally will go through withdraw in order to brak free from it. I was spending thousands of dollars on sushi i was so addicted but i finally broke free of my addiction thank God. Now i actually eat normal foods and i dont need sushi anymore.
I personally enjoy the raw blend of MSG with rice wine and raw fish... Ahh, golden pieces of heaven! However, I tend to crave Sashimi more... Not sure why, but it has a special tinge. Besides that, Dragon roll is definitely on my list.
@frostedflakessuck Well, there are variations to dragon roll, but I like mine with cucumber, crab sticks, unagi, watercress and avocado. Sesame seeds help too. I'd avoid the wasabi if possible, because it kind of taints the umami flavour. You should try it with wasabi first, and tell us all how you feel about this particular variation. Feel free to try other variations of the Dragon Roll.
Dragon Roll, Salmon Roe (salmon eggs. They taste salty. They're actually really good), Smelt Roe (more eggs lol), Smoked Salmon roll, Spicy Salmon roll...many more. There's a good sushi place in Washington DC. It's kinda hidden away, but it's right around the corner from the Spy Museum (kinda) It's in the plaza with the movie theater. Check it out sometime. =D
@GamerKitty45 The only salmon I've ever tried is salmon patties made by my dad. It was DISGUSTING. I've never really liked salmon since. But who knows? Maybe in sushi form, it'll be wonderful! :D
Eel is delicious! ANYTHING with eel is my favorite type of sushi and I can't believe you never had it before the weeked! My family always goes out to asian restaurants so I love sushi!
@OctoberRazzerberry You're welcome! And no, I don't regret it at all. It's absolutely delicious. And you know, not all of it is uncooked. There was one I tried that was warm and deep fried. O_o

Nothing says Japanese cuisine like a California roll.

I had sushi last night! It was sooo yummy. I had something called a Black Pearl and a Volcano Roll. Two separate rolls, both were amazing!
