Well he said/recounted the story a bit different. I then found out he's done several of these appearances and it would be a bit mundane to repeat exactly the same thing. I thought it would be obvious to point out the damage they caused him each time but he leaves it out sometimes.

His time line does not match up at all. Apparently his father was a genius because he was involved in most of the highest secret projects the US has ever conducted.
