First off I was born and live in Virginia. Second off I love bluegrass and especially Ralph Stanley. I'm a conservative republican. Everyone is entitled to their own political opinions and their entire character as well as their intelligence shouldn't be judged on a political endorsement. I know what Dr. Stanley means when he says that we need change but sadly enough I think Dr. Stanley was swindled by sweet talking politician. After the last 8 years change was needed but not in this direction.

Even wealthy people will tell you that the first million is the hardest. If you have a million, it's much easier to turn it into ten million. Its much harder to turn ten thousand into a hundred thousand. Shouldn't it be the other way?? If you are already rich, shouldn't it be as hard to get richer is it is for a middle class person to become wealthy? Why should the next million come easier than the first. Bad loans are a drop in the bucket compared to the leveraging of those loans into assets. Banks could care less about their irresponsible behavior, as long as they made a short term profit. Bush and company encouraged that behavior and broke the economy when his term expired.
