  • this is really awesome!!!!!!

  • just the history of my life...

  • the singer's voice reminds me of chris martin.

  • Yeah, it was first in I Married an Axe Murderer. Great song.

  • wonderful

heard it in the parent trap

  • Me too :D

  • ya it was in the parent trap

  • Check out "Dance with me Crete" music video if you like this song. Its pretty sweet!

  • @californiachik619 LOL, your very blunt...i thought the same thing. I have nostalgia now cuz both versions are old so i feel like an old guy at 23. oh the memories.

  • why is the video quality so crap?

  • this was in the parent trap '98 movie with lindsay lohan, thats when i first heard it. i liked it infact the whole soundtrack is great

  • this song was stuck in my head from some movie -.-

    its a good song ^^

butt when it plays over and over and over again it gets on your nerves -.-

  • So I Married An Ax Murderer?

  • The Parent Trap?

  • heroin a bad drug that inspired a great song

  • I first heard this song from the movie "So I married an axe murderer" With Mike Myers

  • A seriously under appreciated movie!

  • lmao, that films messed up

  • haha so did i...i liked that movie

  • hay 27

  • This video rocks! I love this song and this version of the video is the best!! I also emjoy Alice in Chains and GNR and Pantera..I just love great music!

  • Amen to that. Except the GNR thing. Backstage b.s. kills my respect for a band somewhat. Plus i'm a huge Nirvana fan. so yeah self explanatory after that.

Wlecome to the jungle and Paradise City are decent songs though. But yeah I know where you're coming from. As long as it's a good song, it's whatever.

  • bloody scousers lol.

  • amazing aren't we

  • This song is great, and the melody makes me happy :P

  • its oasis' drummer.....

  • Best bit- first 'She calls my name'.

  • Me encanta esta canción :D

  • A great song from one of the best albums ever made, check it out, an album even the beatles would have been proud to have put out. Tragic that it was their one and only release.

  • Man! How did I miss these guys in the late 80's? I was in my mid-20's, I was into the new wave, punk rock scene. I had no clue they had written this tune. I only heard the remake by a female recently. I also listened to Timeless... and it is a kick a** song too! I am going to take your advice and will try to find this CD. Bealtesque indeed!

  • this is in the soundtrack of gilmore girls (:

  • and family guy

  • Haha, wow. Heroins bad, but man, this song is awesome

  • so? I like it even more haha

  • awesomely cool video, for an awesomely cool song. one of those songs that never should be forgotten.

  • one of my favorite songs if not my very favorite! a fucking amazing song! r ne of their other songs good? ive never heard ne others

  • the 31th state

  • so smooth & beautiful song

  • Beautiful :)

  • Great song, but I thought when I listened it at the first time yesterday that it was a song of the late 1990's - early 2000's like Oasis style with The Servant's voice !

  • You're right. It came out 1988. I always thought it was an early 90s song

  • Exactly! Dunno about The Servant's voice :/

But then I've only heard 'Cells', which was pretty dramatic

  • cool :)

  • Yes,I love both too!! I 100% agree with you!

  • The perfect pop song

  • yes!

  • You must not have a soul or something...

Why come to this video if you hate the song?

  • 'Cause you are a herb.

  • beautiful! a real classic!

  • I don't know exactly why I love this so much. It's just so genuine. This video too.

  • such a good song! but i find it odd how i was listening to this while downloading lamb of god songs

  • Dar she blows!

  • lol

  • great great great song forever!

  • cute guys

  • this song makes my days good :D

  • they can play the first 2 notes and i can already tell what song it is

  • I think this is a great song,

Soundtrack of the Parent Trap, went listening to The La's cuz of that.

  • one of the best

  • Timeless song :)

  • ooh Helena ;/

  • i can't believe that sixpence just covered this song!

  • Arguably... in my humble opinion... one of... if not... the best melodies of all time, love it luv it luv it xxxxxxx

  • so agree!

  • how can people compare this to the sixpence non the richer??i didn know they covered this so i just checked it out and its not a patch on this,my opinion anyway

  • Sixpence made a very good cover of the song, made it their own, but the original version is more soothing. at least that's what i think...

  • your not my cup of tea. lol

  • deadly H

  • this song is about heroin

  • A friend said I'd like this. I knew they did Friends theme so resisted. Well, what did I know?

  • Dont The Rembrants do the friends theme?

  • No, the Friends theme is sung by Tesla

  • No, the Friends theme is the Rembrandts. I remember Aniston and Kudrow opened the show for them when they sang the song in Asheville...

  • both versions, these guys and sixpence, are equally fantastic and amazing :D

  • ME ENCANTA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song I sang it to my gf at our first homecoming dance and we been together ever since thank you for uploading this!

  • I love this song..

  • equal to REM

  • this is about heroin. not a girl. so it's not romantic at all.

  • LOL Narcotibeats!!!

  • How does this US Version differ to others?

  • You get a double cheese burger with it when u buy it.

  • Looooovely song!!! So romantic!

  • This guy's barber needs to be shot

  • i luv this song..

did u guys knw tht this songs lyrics wer actualy writen abt herion runin through the veins..actualy Lee Mavers veins..

  • this song is about heroin

  • much love for this song!

  • Luuuuv' this song!

  • this song reminds me of the Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan when she was like 12

  • This is a wondeful song ! I love it !

  • This is the original. Sixpence covered this.

  • stfu u noob sixpence covered la's

  • Wiki it. When you enter "There She Goes", it says in the FIRST line: "There She Goes is a song written by Scouse singer/guitarist Lee Mavers and recorded first by Mavers' band, The La's."

Want more proof? Sixpence released their cover on their self-titled album in 1998. The La's released their original on THEIR self-titled album released in 1990.

    Get your facts right.

And though this is just my opinion, The La's did it better.

  • actually Music video by The La's performing There She Goes: US Version - Stereo

    (C) 1988 Go! Discs Ltd. 1988 according to universal music group

  • oh, true. I was just looking at the album release date at the time.

however, isn't the version in this music video the newer version?

  • im not sure but the self titled album was released in 1988 and the single for this song was released in1990

  • srry that was wrong it was the first version of this song was recorded in 1988, it was remixed and released in 1990 on the self titled. haha

  • Is that Bob Dylan at 2:15?

  • its the lean singer from cast!

  • Dang..LOL So I Married an Axe Murder Style, All Hardcore LOL

  • omg they're adorable!

  • I saw Purple Ackee!!!

  • lol man you're fucking right!!! it's just awesome

  • 1:05 - 1:07 ...Bliss

  • We can double-date.

  • you can take those lines either way, It is ambiguous.

  • "There She Goes" has gained a reputation for being about the use of heroin; the lyrics seem to refer to a woman, but on closer inspection of some lines ("There she goes again... racing through my brain... pulsing through my vein... no one else can heal my pain"), FROM WIKIPEDIA!!!

  • Yes, because when you find something on Wikipedia, it has to be true.

  • That was informally denied twice by the band.

  • lol my football coach useto sing this song in the locker room it was hilarious.

  • Awesome original dudes.

  • whitewidow777 thinks this song is about heroin then that person must be on heroin
