@serrribral yea PSU is a great academic school but believe it or not OSU is become increasingly difficult to get into, this year was about 60%... people think it's just a regular institution. Their business school is in the top 10 for public schools, for marketing it's in the top 3. I'm tired of people dissing OSU for being poor academically, yeah athletes get everything easy here (I walk by the "athletic tutoring building" everyday) but every big school makes it easy for fball players.

@PieandBiscuits Everything you said about tOSU is true, but people like "juhosevic" don't realize that despite what happened (the Sandusky mess), our football history and reputation as far as academics go will remain the same and a strong sell to recruits like Reeves, who's still a "soft" verbal to us. Anything can happen at this point, but don't be surprised that he re-commits. He loves PSU.

@serrribral Yeah I think the Sandusky scandal should't affect recruits that much, but it has in a huge way. I mean he hasn't coached there in what 10 years? It's not like he was molesting players.. Now everyone thinks PSU is a pedophile school or whatever which is ridiculous. I think JoePa leaving had a bigger effect on recruiting.. and Urban Meyer being named head coach at OSU. I just read that Armani was going to announce his decision this week but who knows with the internet these days..

@PieandBiscuits Well, you're going to be happy hear this. The Williams kid I mentioned before just committed to tOSU (he called the PSU coaching staff tonight and informed them of his decision) and I'm hearing that Reeves will, too, shortly. Damn that sucks. >:-(

@PieandBiscuits Oh yeah, he had an "in-home" visit with a couple of our coaches on Monday, 1/16/12, and will be visiting us along with his teammate, MLB Cam Williams, another soft verbal of ours that tOSU is coming hard after, on 1/23/12. Difference this time is that he'll get to meet Bill O'Brien and that just might be what we need to seal the deal on him.
