This track is an organically genius ... Wu expands the genre without knowing they do it, and then 5,6 even 7 years later hip hop catches up and then they get their credit, lets not forget glory Wu years were thought to be to much confusion and people preferred the soulful sounds of Havoc, Primo, and Evil Dee over Rza confusion, then again Bob Digi was thought to be too electronic, now Black Milk, and West shine on those... its beautiful to genius produced
@Jaimelapoesie no...no it's not. im a huge wutang fan and i'll tell you first this cheap attempt to sound like 99% of the SHIT that is called 'hip hop' is just flat out garbage. Wutang is better then this.

imagine if dre did a couple beats or timbo. this album would of went triple platinum, Rza beats is warm, they need that fiya, these beats got no energy in them,
what timbo is sick he can cook up a beat that compliments all the Wu stlye. Rza did but now nahhhh. Nah it's not better thats why they ain't getting nowhere. they not expanding. look at Meth he expanding now he the most recognize, the most paid out all the Wu. you ask anybody name the Wu meth is the first name that gonna name.
They expanded in may projects...Alot of great artist have come from the Wu diciples.
Method man is nowhere near as good as he was he will expand by becomming more commerical where as Rza, Gza are respected for there talents they do not wish to expand as there is no point, they have a massive loyal fan base, good music and money what more are they striving for ?
Timbo dont even compare to Rza damn how can you even say that if you are into real hip hop you will know Rza is in a league of his own... This is the Wu...this shit is tight the beats, the lyric's aint no lolli pop music!!
Rza weak with the beats dawgs believe me when I tell you why you thinking nobody ain't requesting his beats let be real, who asking for a rza beat. if you google wu right now it will tell you The Wu aint satify with Rza beats. It just too weak man, it just dead man. to each is own.
I'll tell you whos for his beats we are "the Fans" F@#$ wot anyone else is screaming out for I know many, many wu fans that will be fans all their lives his shit will never die!!
Rza is alright he ain't all of that. the Wu-tang help his beats to sound hot. if it wasn't for the Wu, Rza wouldn't get no work cause nobody requesting for a rza beat.
or mayb he helped wu ta sound hot..the man dun need ppl ta buy his beats his doing scores and collaborating with other genre artistes while ya fav producers still flipping samples over one dimensional beats
nobody is requesting his beats cuz in most cases they dont sound commercial enough. maisntream nowadays wants something else. he simply sticks to his thing. thats all. and thats great... there are too many artists out there where u hear many people say "i liked their old stuff". glad that theres at least a fistful of artists that seems to stick to what they are great at. instead of deforming themselves, starting to do the same shit as everyone.
Round of applause for this guy^^ you got it right man, personally if he's making the beats HE likes and he's making beats that he wants the world to hear, then i'm not going to complain. I got so much respect for him and the music he makes that i can't imagine why anyone would comment a Youtube video hating for no good reason. I would take the time to listen to your beats people,in comparison to RZA's, and i would give you my honest opinion, but if you don't make beats then shut the fuck up
True, I think sometimes people on the outside appreciate things more than when they are part of it. Most people that love RZA and his beats come from other countries or don't even live in the hood. People around him and where he comes from are in a different state of mind and don't want to listen. Seems like people just want to hear songs these days, not listen to them. They will never get the message this way only the feeling.
Wu tang have popped up after a while of not making a album to show the other fake ass rappers that they are the best out there and they have done it not just in my eyes but in most of the worlds rap fans because the rap industry have brought out 50 cent the game soulja boy and all them fakers so Wu Tang have brought out 8 Diagrams just to warn the others that they cant be beat,
the only reason why this album isn't platinum is cause wu appeals to smart people who unfortunately know how to pirate music off the internet, If the internet didnt exist wu would still be selling platinum, buy the fucking albums bitches, plus this song has gza, rza and deck on it
Is that Cuba Gooding singing on that? Give it to the Wu for taking it back to the Ol' Soul shit! For you mo'fo's that don't know, he was the lead singer for the Main Ingredient. The Wu stays showing love to Ol' School R & B pioneers. And not for nothing, listen again and peep the message.
What happened to wu tang? ... they sound more like 50 cent by the year.. why is everything becoming so commercialy tainted - this is garbage - but still -
yess man, yu tell deez fools hu have ears yet they do not hear. it doesnt matter how it sounds, cos dats preference, but its da message./ dey nt tlkin bwt sellin crack or der newest whip wiv spinnin rims. mans talkin realness bout " got ma hand on ma gun, ders a brotha on da run.." fight 2 survive
Did you read my post or skim through it - because if you listened you would understand that i meant Wu - tang isn't what it used to be - this isnt like the classic tracks they made before - its no where near as good
man what do you want to here? the same shit over and over and over again, or do you want to hear evolution? cause I wouldn't care if this sounded exactly like enter the 36 chambers, Id be like "wow these cats arn't creative anymore, plus this song only has meth on it, when on the album, genius INS and RZArecta are on it
Let me tell all you sorry ass negative punk asses. This is talent. To have the ability to move from deep are rap and the political realm to actually smooth soul beats and do it well is what educated people call--TALENT!!! So shut the hell up. Wu Rules.
Very nice cd and this was my fav sond on the cd when I first got it and listened to it. I searched so I could add it to my site.
bähhh... damn garbage beat! where are the legendary songs(beats)gone? like shadowboxing, cream, Triumph and many more.... not 1 straight Track like them on the new album! damnit! they sound burnedout...
ok i love the beat but i only heard meth weres the rest this aint sounding like a wu album its sounding like a when anyone was in studio could be botherd to spit a verse ? any one agree?
This album is not the sound of the future it's the sound of now. I'm glad they sound like this now, they are still voltron. They have given us 36 Chambers, Ol' Dirty, TIcal, Supreme Clientele, Reunited, GZA, Cuban Links, and now 8 Diagrams. A lot of duds too but you know what I feel blessed to be able to hear another Wu album. I can't wait to see them live again.
man for soem reason i completely agree with ya on that one i thot u-god really stood out in this album compared to the passed wu-tang. His newer deeper voice has changed from the older albums and sounds great too.
I luv this song man. And i love the fact that method man is on almost every song. Wu-tang clan had a change of style, but i think it was for the best. You gotta listen this shit over and over again and eventually you will see the geniusness behind it. I'm tired of all them nigg*z sayin this shit is crap. It's not 36 chambers but they'll top even that with some other album. Cuz i think WU is going the right way!
this is that late 90's early 2000 east coast NY good shit. if you dont think so go back to the dirty or the west cause this shit is for the east coast
well said man...what is this garbage? i never thought this would be anything like wu tang. its some idiot singing about cheese sandwiches, this isnt hard at all.
This isnt the whole song

dukesara 3 years ago
or mayb he helped wu ta sound hot..the man dun need ppl ta buy his beats his doing scores and collaborating with other genre artistes while ya fav producers still flipping samples over one dimensional beats
collaboration97 3 years ago
nobody is requesting his beats cuz in most cases they dont sound commercial enough. maisntream nowadays wants something else. he simply sticks to his thing. thats all. and thats great... there are too many artists out there where u hear many people say "i liked their old stuff". glad that theres at least a fistful of artists that seems to stick to what they are great at. instead of deforming themselves, starting to do the same shit as everyone.

I would take the time to listen to your beats people,in comparison to RZA's, and i would give you my honest opinion, but if you don't make beats then shut the fuck up
bonsaichemist 3 years ago 4
True, I think sometimes people on the outside appreciate things more than when they are part of it. Most people that love RZA and his beats come from other countries or don't even live in the hood. People around him and where he comes from are in a different state of mind and don't want to listen. Seems like people just want to hear songs these days, not listen to them. They will never get the message this way only the feeling.

Wu tang have popped up after a while of not making a album to show the other fake ass rappers that they are the best out there and they have done it not just in my eyes but in most of the worlds rap fans because the rap industry have brought out 50 cent the game soulja boy and all them fakers so Wu Tang have brought out 8 Diagrams just to warn the others that they cant be beat,
Method Man has got to be the rock in the group
much love Meth
peace

the only reason why this album isn't platinum is cause wu appeals to smart people who unfortunately know how to pirate music off the internet, If the internet didnt exist wu would still be selling platinum, buy the fucking albums bitches, plus this song has gza, rza and deck on it
dollardollarbill1 4 years ago

Hollow Bones on the W was the shit too .. or the song with RZA and Ghost featuring Isaac Hayes .. that was classic shit
ebf83 4 years ago
Yeah, they sampled Isaac Hayes, and had him on the track at the same time. That's like some torch-passing shit.

Peace!

common's is. 8 Diagrams was bullshit, all weak shit. I respect Deck, Meth, and Killah, but they rest suck.. R.I.P. ODB
dragonakon 4 years ago
truth fully U God out performed everyone on that album, even meth and ghost.
only hype boys will be sayin that meth n ghost were betta than U God on 8 diagrams because they usually are, but NOT THIS TIME!

man for soem reason i completely agree with ya on that one i thot u-god really stood out in this album compared to the passed wu-tang.
