lol Russia didnt really needed the stealth planes, they had good radars that saw lockhead F117 and shut down few in Ugoslavia :))) All Russians had to do is tune up the radars to se stealth planes and cost them nothing :) American tax payers spend millions . It took the advent of super computers to construct a shape that could calculate the rcs of a plane from every given angle (see F-117); something the Russians never had! 30 years later, the F-22's state of the art avionics/computer system will hack into any Russian analog system like a virus & knock it out of the sky before it even knows what hit it.
The T-50 further proves how unoriginal Russians are. It took them how many years to come up with this design? This rip off. Like it or not, it's clearly an evolution of two stealth designs into one: the F-22 and YF-23. Nope, the f22 is sure overrated, its a FACT that the su can sustain more G's and has more mobility, not to talk about the new russian jets such as the PAK FA, second, the SU37 has been designed to rape the f22, the rest will depend on the pilots and we all know how the US pilots are ;). If anything the T-50, primarily intended as a 5th generation replacement for the MiG-29 in the export market, looks more like a YF-23. It is likely not an aircraft that the Russians will employ themselves, in any event, either. They have already announced plans for a true, more substantial and technologically akin (5th generation) Su-27 replacement; something to compare with the F-22, whereas the T-50 is more like the F-35.

It took the advent of super computers to construct a shape that could calculate the rcs of a plane from every given angle (see F-117); something the Russians never had! 30 years later, the F-22's state of the art avionics/computer system will hack into any Russian analog system like a virus & knock it out of the sky before it even knows what hit it.

The T-50 further proves how unoriginal Russians are. It took them how many years to come up with this design? This rip off. Like it or not, it's clearly an evolution of two stealth designs into one: the F-22 and YF-23. There're plenty of other designs to choose from so the excuse that all stealth designs look similar isn't going to work either. Just like borrowed designs from the west in the past, that was always the Russian excuse.

@pR05t0 You mach 3+ interceptor was a failure. It never shot down it's intended target: The SR-71 blackbird! What's more, it was an inferior design; just a crude bucket of bolts who's engines need to be replace after it reached Mach 3. However, little do you know is that the Mig-25 was only able reach that level of speed for a very limited amount of time; not it's entire mission.

Nope, the f22 is sure overrated, its a FACT that the su can sustain more G's and has more mobility, not to talk about the new russian jets such as the PAK FA, second, the SU37 has been designed to rape the f22, the rest will depend on the pilots and we all know how the US pilots are ;). The ones that can match the F18 and F16 could be a MIG or a SU 26. But seriusly, be realistic, it depends on the man and on the mobility not on the stealth and 1b€ missiles most of the times

That's a good thing for the SU, so the F22 is "younger" yet, compared to the SU it only has a larger payload, stealth, and it does all the shit for the unexprienced US pilot.
The SU has more mobility, can take more Gs, has better ATA capabilities when it comes to a dogfight.
Every fighter have a good long range ATA capability with high tech missiles, so quit saying the SU 37 wont get close to the F22.
Then again, it's a FACT that the SU surpasses the F22 in a dogfight.
