Love this video .. ! <3 .. I also love the series I am a great fan of HP .. And really I agree on whatever u said about HP ... Its really just not a story for people to enjoy, it has a deep meaning .. I really cry when I watch any part of it because I love it .. And J.K ROWLING wrote a great book which I guess makes us cry when we read .. I love all the characters , actors especially DANIEL and EMMA ... This was , is and will be the BEST MOVIE SERIES ever .. ! <3 U HP ...

I completely agree with you, Harry Potter is alot more than just Magic and Potions(as you said). Its about Love, Trust, Friendship, Sacrificing for the ones you love, Never giving up, Having something to live for, Always remembering the ones you love. <3333 Anyway... i love this video, The Trio is absolutely AMAZING and they're one of my favorites in Harry Potter :)))

I read your description and I completely agree - I personally am not religious, but if I was, I doubt that the idea of witches and wizards potions and spells would faze me. Because I know that Harry Potter is a lot more than that. HP is about friendship, love trust and the things in life so many take forgranted. I find it a little silly that many have banned HP in libraries in my area because activists are against it especially when it really is to do with much grander themes that sorcery.

Great video! I read what you wrote in your description, and I totally agree with you. I'm a Christian too, but Harry Potter is my favorite series. It's not the magic that makes it so memorable to me, it's the themes and the characters.

@rodeogal1992 - thanks so much! : D I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 :) The effect is called "radial blur" and then you can play with the different settings. And thanks for subbing :) It really means a lot!

In books like these 'magic' is used as a metaphor. Jesus in his teachings sometimes made use of metaphor.

For example Muggles and Wizards can be understood to represent two kinds of people; those with no creativity and no imagination (Muggles) and those people who are creative and use their imagination (Magic folk).

People who interpret everything literally will never be able to understand this. Best to leave them to it, they will never be persuaded.

Wow, I had no idea that the Amish were still against witchcraft, especially for novels about fictional angsty boy. XD I was just in Amish country, I had a volleyball tournament in Lancaster. The meat was good...

I see where you're going with your argument. While magic is the groundwork for HP it's the character's dedication to their beliefs and others that make it such a beloved and memorable series.

Trying to argue with others in your area about Harry Potter might not get you far however. It's their beliefs and I doubt you can change that. I'm Christian as well and I've never met anyone that couldn't read HP because of their beliefs so no, you're not bashing them at all. ;) They will just have trouble seeing through the friendship and whatnot just because magic is a major theme. :\

Wow, this was a pleasant little surprise! I was freaking tearing up at the end. What a nice recap of HP this was, it showed exactly why I'm obsessed with it in the first place! The voice overs were such a great touch, that was got me teary-eyed to begin with. XD
