After I dropped my iphone , my lcd and glass were damaged and I had some scrathes on my backcover , so I ordered all the 3 items on ebay and after I put it all back together it's not working. No response at all. My PC doesn't even recognize my iPhone. I measured my battery and it was 2.8 V. I know it's hard to help but all idea's are welcome because i have no idea what to do !

@mizneeq This is a tricky one because even if you replace the correct part you might have issues since there was water damage. If the backlight is gone and the touch works then you just need a LCD replaced. Part # IP-2212 at DirectFix com. But I must warn you that this might not fix it if some parts have gone bad on the motherboard.

Cable Labeled #1: Just the LCD Display

Cable Labeled #2: Just the Touch Panel/Touch Screen

Cable Labeled #3: Handles the sensor and the earpiece.

How to tell which Screen part you need for the iPhone 3G

- LCD Only: If the image under the glass is broken and the touch panel is NOT then you only need an LCD.

- Touch Panel aka Digitizer: If the top touch panel or aka glass top is cracked or broken but the image under it is fine then you only need the Touch Panel.

- Complete Screen with Touch Panel and LCD: If the top touch panel is broken and the lcd image is either black liquid or cracked you need a complete screen

Either will work. The IP-2213 is just the touch panel. It is cheaper but requires more work to install. The IP-2342 is already in the frame and requires less work but cost more. Your choice.

Maybe the earpiece but the plastic frame is glued and sealed to the front glass and the home button is in between the glass and plastic frame.

If anyone breaks their touch panel, I would order the entire touch panel assembly. I dropped my iPhone less than 24 hours after buying it and cracked the glass screen. I opened my phone to see if the "glass screen" I ordered on eBay would work and I couldn't see how it would be possible to swap the broken glass screen with the new one. The best and only route to take is to order the complete touch panel assembly.
