Yes very nicely done.you certainly play those wee tunes well with confidence. Im a mandolin player my self and know how long it takes to learn these tunes: well done'
DO mandolins have truss rods? i'm looking at one that doesn't have the truss rod cover on the head, and i'm kinda worried the neck will go out and i'll be screwed
Well, Kev, your latest videos have entertained me throughout my lunch break. Thanks for that. It's also nice to see some videos featuring your other instruments.

Good selection. Especially like the Boys of Bluehill/Harvest Home, two of my favorites!

Harvest Home is very nicely done - I've been playing for years but my fingers still get tangled in that rundown. :)

Very nice, thanks! Why don't folk mandolin players use the little finger in the 1st position while classical players do?

Next time, mix the mandolin higher. And why the long face?

like guitars...some do, some don't - usually the more expensive ones do. I wouldn't worry about it.

What kind of mandolin is that, and what kind of pickup electronics in it? Is it plugged in for this video?

Would you consider doing Cambell's Farewell and the Musical Priest in slow time so I can see the fingering ?

Totally awesome! I play Campbell's Farewell and Boys of Bluehill as pipe tunes, and they work wonderfully on mandolin!
