  • Yes very nicely done.you certainly play those wee tunes well with confidence. Im a mandolin player my self and know how long it takes to learn these tunes: well done'

  • Good selection. Especially like the Boys of Bluehill/Harvest Home, two of my favorites!

  • Harvest Home is very nicely done - I've been playing for years but my fingers still get tangled in that rundown. :)

  • @hillsher

    thnx for the feedback

    Kev

  • Very nice, thanks! Why don't folk mandolin players use the little finger in the 1st position while classical players do?

  • @zimrisebastian

heh heh...sometimes they do! Just bad habits creep in ;o)

  • Next time, mix the mandolin higher. And why the long face?

  • DO mandolins have truss rods? i'm looking at one that doesn't have the truss rod cover on the head, and i'm kinda worried the neck will go out and i'll be screwed

  • @overoath123

like guitars...some do, some don't - usually the more expensive ones do. I wouldn't worry about it.

  • wow!

  • cheers

  • Nice balance and a good set, Kev. Like your guitar backing.
