i agree my neighbor has a pit and its the nicest dog ive met. my sisters got a chesapeek (i cant spell that word) bay and it whoops that pit everytime she can. hasnt lost yet. ive seen some chahuahuas that are mean as hell and some boxers that are really nice. its all in how you raise the dog. yes pits can snap but all dogs can.

Humans have stronger bite force. We don't continuously bite over and over. Our necks/shoulders aren't as strong either so we can't do what an APBT/Amstaff can do.

I agree, but how many are just selectivley bred to be big pits? and how many are actually crossed with another breed of dog entirely? My pit is the more slender and agile looking although he is a fair size, he can run for miles and not be out of breath i doubt these dogs could.

I doubt these dogs can run 100 yards before they die of cardiac arrest. They probably spend most of their time on the ground or eating and I bet they have huge fucking stools. My dog eats good food and has small stools because he exercises vigorously.

Yea that dog is huge, pits are not supposed tobe that big, but there are people that are breeding what they call "monster pit bulls" which are so big it's rediculous. Their heads are like 25 inches and more wide and chests of around 45 inches. Definitely not what a real pit should be like. I would never get one of those, they are too manufactured, I don't trust it. (I have owned and will ALWAYS have a pit bull in my life! But the real pit bull. Not a manufactured one.)

They are bred for a specific purpose; and that is, easy maintenance and longevity.
Like a Cane Corso, they are very agile.
PItbulls have been America for 200 yrs.

i agree my neighbor has a pit and its the nicest dog ive met. my sisters got a chesapeek (i cant spell that word) bay and it whoops that pit everytime she can. hasnt lost yet. ive seen some chahuahuas that are mean as hell and some boxers that are really nice. its all in how you raise the dog. yes pits can snap but all dogs can.

Humans have stronger bite force. We don't continuously bite over and over. Our necks/shoulders aren't as strong either so we can't do what an APBT/Amstaff can do.
My Amstaff was one of the most socialized dogs I have ever owned. I can't wait to get another.

as a matter of fact a apbt can be up to 100lbs and not be a bully style. all depends on breeding. one of my apbt is almost 70lbs and he is only 9 months old. he is tall and lean and does not have the head the size of a steering wheel. he is registered as a apbt. all it takes is a little research and half a brain to do it with to find the facts man

I agree, but how many are just selectivley bred to be big pits? and how many are actually crossed with another breed of dog entirely? My pit is the more slender and agile looking although he is a fair size, he can run for miles and not be out of breath i doubt these dogs could.

Of course it is big, finally, you guys are talking sense, it is clearly a bully Pit, any game pit which is porb 30% less in weight, would be better to have. I have a game pit, although he is big! I really don't see why they developed these bully pits, it's almost like the owners are trying to show off how big they are, but if they ran 1 mile they would be out of breath, they can probably only jump about 1.5 metre high as well! which contraditcts how/why the pit was originally developed.

I doubt these dogs can run 100 yards before they die of cardiac arrest. They probably spend most of their time on the ground or eating and I bet they have huge fucking stools. My dog eats good food and has small stools because he exercises vigorously.

yupp true, actually Chiahuahua's along with Doxie's are more prone to bite than pits, pits just have a more worse outcome than the smaller dogs. I'm surprised chihuahua's aren't banned since all they do is attack people, they get away with it cuz they're small. And I own a Labrador who's nothing near vicious. These dogs tend to become vicious due to lack of ownership and poor breeding and health quality.. just all dogs. and this one here, he was due to bad breeding, he shouldn't breath like that
