by the way, you are so funny. made me laugh so much. you have some lovely humour and your accent is definitely adorable!

love your chinese lemon chicken recipe too (I'm Chinese and love it!)

  • u make it look easy :)

  • will it make a a difference to the cake if i dont put the cake in a baking tray with boiling water in?

cos my cooker is a gas one, and my mum says the foil will burn if i do, will it?

  • @TheSaturdaysForEva15 The cake might turn out a bit dry. The foil won't burn at the temperatures you use to bake this cake.

  • @TitliNihaan ok thank you :)

  • Mrs. Titli, would it be possible to add a crumb crust to this cake, even with the water in the pan? Or would that not let the crust settle?

  • @AmpedArchetype Nice idea. It should work.

  • I love it! Thanks so much!

  • push air bottom kinda sounds funny

  • Hii, thanks for the recipe this is exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted to add some kind of coffee flavors so can I dip lady fingers in some coffee and put them in the bottom of the pan so it acts like a first layer or will that not bake properly?

  • @nikiandkinda Why not just add a tsp of coffee essence into the mixture? Or a tsp of very strong coffee?

  • why is there Islamic welcoming? Married to one?

  • wow how much butter do u even have at home

  • What's the purpose of the boiling water in the tray?

  • @Lilia1992 It keeps a moist atmosphere in the oven AND it moderates the speed of cooking of the cake

  • @TitliNihaan Ah thanks! I guess that's why my cake came out somewhat gross!

  • What I mean is the type of cheese cake you can get in France.

Because my dad went to france once, because of his job,

And while he was there, he got this cheese cake, and took some of it back to share

    with me and my family.

And it was so rich, and yummy, I really wanted to know how to make my own,

so can you please show me if possible?

  • @yoshi3794 I suspect what you had was a baked cheesecake. I have done a video on that :-)

  • how do u make french cheese cake?

  • @yoshi3794 French Cheesecake?

  • yummy, thnx for that, can't wait to make mine

  • Man, i'm hungry now.

    Anyway, thnx a bunch.

I can't wait to make mine, although i'm a bit scared my family will eat it all before me.

    O_O bye

  • hi titli love to watch ur recepies... the way u explain it is very entertaining .... thanks you...

P.S. I call it Aluminium too....

  • My hips expanded an inch just watching this video 3 times... *slobber over the chocolatey gooeyness*

P.S. PhD?! NOW I get WHO you resemble... You even have scientisty hair like my mum :-O

  • It's more of a chocolate omelet than a cake.

  • Respect for making a tutorial on something 'halal' ... looks delicious!

  • Titli can you make a video on how to make red velvet cake?

  • It won't last long in my house, too many people, ha! Looks real good...but why do all you Brits say aluminium...Theres only one " i " in aluminum..Its "num" at the end, not "nium"...I learned to cook from you, you learn correct enunciation from me...ha! ;)

  • @MYHOLLANDGIRL Oh dear, Never mess with Titli on matters of chemistry - I have a PhD. The IUPAC name for this element is Aluminium, although a few years later and under pressure from the US they recognised Aluminum as a variant name. Note: *variant* name. In fact, it is only really the North Americans who insist on calling it Aluminum. Most of the civilised world call it Aluminium.

  • @TitliNihaan Organic chemistry was my favourite.

  • @TitliNihaan i learned something new today!.

  • @TitliNihaan Love your videos and love your sense of humour! Thanks for sharing! Just wanted to share the etymology on "aluminum" or "aluminium". Though an English chemist coined the word, he actually coined it as "aluminum". However, it was editors a few years later who decided it would be better to call it "aluminium" so that it would sound like some of the other elements, e.g. sodium, potassium. I'm neither British nor American, but I studied linguistics. :)

  • @jylng7070 Thanks for that! I learn something new every day :-)

  • @TitliNihaan You have a PhD in chemistry? Wow. Have you ever considered doing funny science videos along with your cooking? lol

  • 0:27 to 0:30 WIN!

  • can i change the sugar and half of the butter with fresh low fat milk and olive oil? just to make it healthier i think :)

  • oh no i thought the base was chocolate

  • mmmmmmm yummmmm

  • These videos really help me realx ...

  • if this cake kills me its all okay !.....i die with a big smile

  • can i reduce the sugar to make the cake less sweeter?

  • @hatsuyuuko You can, but the cake isn't that sweet anyway.

  • titli...thakyou so much 4 your great recipes..just 1 concern..is it okay if i dont add the baking soda 2 a cake which already requires baking powder?...or is it nessential 2 add both?.....jazakallah khair in advance..:)

  • @TitliNihaan y u speak german like a boss. is your mother or father german or sth?

  • @reginaX0 I studied German at school...

  • @TitliNihaan when you say "du denkst das..." u have to say "Du denkst, dasS" with two "s" because dass means "that" and "das" is just a thing you put in front of objects and things and people... :)

  • @yougotafriendinme80 What????

  • @yougotafriendinme80 you're clearly not a friend to Muslims

  • @yougotafriendinme80

please google what is meant by assalamualaikum or else you just a stupid person with no brain which judges something based on what you see on tv.

  • can i use unsweetened cocoa instead of dark chocolate??

  • assalamualaikum titli, just found your videos last night, n i made your lemon meringue pie! it was oh YUM!i thank you..

btw I am a newbie in cooking, can I ask why is the tin preparation so important? if i dont have one with removable bottom side, will it do?

    thank youu :D God bless

  • @kacangmede The removeable base simply helps get the cake out. It's a great investment, or get someone to buy you one as a gift. The main thing here is to make sure you can get the cake out. The alternative is to put two long strips of baking paper onto the bottom of your tin so that they come up and out of the tin. The put a circle of paper on the bottom of the tin. After cooking you can use the paper strips like handles to lift the cake out of the tin.
