I left SA 10 yrs ago due to a belief I had that the country would continue to deteriorate on several fronts (eg crime and violence).I believe that this has been the case. I still love our country with all of my heart and constantly pine for the familiarity of the culture, old friends and geography. During my youth, I was active within an inter-race relations committee, opposed apartheid vehemently, dated outside my ethnicity. That said...today I would support a takeback by force to save the RSA.

a democracy does not work where the voters are so uneducated, ignorant & superstitious that they do not know what they are voting for & believe that people will know who they have voted for.

I think we must take some swimming lessons. Zuma might just chase us to the sea. Or perhaps the Xhosa's and Zulu's will sort out each other, with us inthe middle.
