Dude... when I was a kid I never was able to beat this level, so I asked my girlfriend to help me out one time, and she got to the part where you got to space and I was amazed, then she got to the part where you run up the ramps and I was like "OH NO GIRL!!!" *snatches GBA* "OMG IM GOING SOO FAST!" I loved the music to.

I loved this for the fact that it's easily considered marathon gaming, at a time where traditional sonic levels did not take this long. Also the third part seems so "final boss upcoming"y with the background change.

Actually, it's just the VBA. It always gets out of sync with the audio if the video extends long enough. It's almost entirely unnoticeable in short VBA-recorded videos.

This stage is one of the hardest on SA1 due to the numerous enemies, lots of spikes, and bottomless pits (in the beginning).

It doesn't help that this stage is the longest stage in SA1 AND that after the first 13 seconds of the stage, you're on a time limit.

HOW THE HELL IS SONIC ABLE TO BREATHE IN OUTER SPACE BUT NOT UNDERWATER?

Major logical fault. Oh, and the inversing gravity is a good stolen one from Death Egg/S3&K/Act 2.

Since eggman always goes overboard and builds a giant battle ship in space where no one but sonic and friends can blow up because no one else decides to shoot at it oxegen must be "attached" to it due to gravity. As long as sonic is near a big area he can breathe. I think the oxegen comes from when he was still on earth.

@Clockorkzone simple he's able to breathe in low oxygen conditions. (this also explains why swallowing an air bubble is enough to keep him going).

Act 2 is called Cosmic Angel. They named the stage weird in that Act 1 is Egg Rocket and Act 2 is Cosmic Angel. I do not know why they did that.

How did I upload them? If you're asking about the process, I record directly off of my VBA and save it as an .AVI. Then I put them in MovieMaker and save them as a .wmv so I could upload them.
