Beautiful film, it's my new favorite, as I only watched it yesterday, but it really moved me. Also I don't think people should criticize Jake for his silence, I bet that he and Heath formed a very close bond, they would have had to for the chemistry shown in the movie. I guess it's like what happened in the movie, but with the roles reversed. Sometimes there are emotions so deep, no words will ever describe or relieve them.

@AnGelleBaybee Some deaths are so shocking and painful that those close to the person just can't talk about it without breaking down, I assume that is the case with Jake he just can't talk about without tears, so he has to avoid the subject in public. I understand that when he heard of Heaths death he was devastated and unable to continue working that day, they had to stop the filming. He may never be able to talk about it in public, but don't think that he doesnt care,that's not true.

Why is it that we ordinary people tend to forget that even those who are in the spotlight like Jake or Heath need their private moments to sort out their personal thoughts and issues. Jake's silence all this time leads me to believe that they were only posing for pictures when they were seen together celebrating the success of the movie. All that BS about friendship, his being Heath's daughter's godfather, etc. I did not expect Jake to break down in front of the cameras. I expected him to feel and express at least some sorrow for the loss of a "friend" (if they ever were friends) as Heath's fans did even without having met him in person. I am disappointed - very.

God, what an incredibly moving video--Brokeback was a miracle to all of us & I thank God every day for the gift of Heath and Jake. There's a masculine intimacy that is/was present between them, (not what we can label 'Gay'..not anything we can even begin to mundanely label by any standard). These wonderful actors portrayed real life happenings. Love is how you feel towards other people, it is a feeling comming from the heart, regardless of whoever is. The problem is the role of society who dictates who to be loved. Thank you for this film, at least people understand the situation and reflect now what real love is.
