Most probably it's either Mervyn Warren or Cedric Dent..

They arrange and compose their own songs. The main two that arrange are Mark Kibble and Cedric Dent. Cedric has a doctorate degree in music theory and he is a music professor. Take 6 is incredible! They've been doing this consistantly since the 1980's!!
