I remember when this started, I was out there with the McCormick's, we had to leave out early to get through the passes prior to closing otherwise we would have been stuck away from Indiana for another two weeks or so, tragic.

I have been to silverton twice both times in september rained both times. Loved it anyway. Took the train.

@DRA60NF1R3 this was uploaded right after i shot it in january of 2008. if memory serves, this was one of many storms in what was a very snowy January and ultimately the biggest winter in more than a decade.

I reamember when we got about that much snow last year in north Idaho, But this year right now we have about half an inch, Instead of last years 2.5 feet, I miss snow

@rockymtnhigh34 sadly, we did have any insulation in our house. we closed up all the rooms except for two.
