  • Very nice, how did you decide on the tricycle gear vs. tail dragger?

  • @tom110111

I have a fair amount of tailwheel time, but since RVs are not really rough field machines, I couldn't see the point of having a tailwheel. I'm satisfied I made the right choice for me. If I build a bush plane, it will have the small wheel in back.

  • Beautiful!

Beautiful to see your wife smiling the whole build through too.

  • Double Eagle tower? Are you in Albuquerque?

  • @jjohnston94 Yep

  • great work very inspiring!

  • Congrats man. A lot of work, time and sweat goes into the first flight. The 8 was my first choice but wife didn't like back seat. Building a Mustang II, look forward to first flight myself, someday. Enjoy.

  • Incredible journey! Thanks for sharing...

  • The big grinn at the end tells it all.

  • WOW! Thats an awesome plane you've built! How long did it take for you to build and how much did it cost you? By the way I am viewer 5001!

    P.S (Nice Cat)

  • Nice work, but I did not see the "RV" grin?

  • Holy Shit! she said as you left the ground.

    Nicely done!

  • Your hard work has paid off!

  • Nice job...what is your background music?

  • Music is "Smoothie Song" by Nickel Creek. A top notch "Newgrass" band. They've gone separate ways now, but the Mandolin player, Chris Thile still has a successful solo career.

  • Nice job !!!

    what is your background music?

  • Awesome. Just awesome. Good work, Guy & Meredith. Congratulations!
