  • very nice~~~

  • very good, nice!

  • Thank you for being a voice for people like me....Muslim women who dare to wear hijab!

  • this song is so beautiful it means so much

  • :-) I always have to listen to this when I feel like giving into the world and stop wearing hijab...It gives me the strength to go on because it is between my God and me not the world and me. Alhamdulillah for hijab and alhamdulillah for being lead to the path of Islam!!!

  • @hanaalhawamdeh i agree it just gives u that touch its the truth it just makes u realise how lucky u r and how u have to thank and repay allah

  • @fatefulcoincidence

    thank you <3

  • i'm 11 years old actually turning 12 in 9 days and i wore the hijab since 4Th grade, i used to live in jordan so everybody is used to hijabis there but i had to move to america in 6th grade and i was scared to death of how Americans would treat me because i wear a hijab but i was wrong .... kids and adults treat me very well but some times people ask me retarded questions and i have no idea how to answer them but now from this song i'm pretty sure what my answers would be to their questions <3

  • @chaboco11 aww bless,good for you <3

  • @chaboco11 You are a beatuiful soul

  • Listening to this as a child just made me more secure in wearing hijab and I really didn't get approached with any of those sort of comments until high school and this is exactly what I answered :) Hope that other Muslims realize the importance of hijab

  • HIJAB: MY CHOICE, MY LIFE, MY RIGHT

  • :) mashAllah!!!

  • Simply put; everything about Islam is beautiful. May Allah elavate the position of Hijab wearing Women in this world and the next!

  • MashAllah, good nasheed. but isn't it kind of weird singing in front of other people like he's doing a speech

  • This put the biggest smile on my face! MashAllah such a beautiful voice & such beautiful words.

  • his voice alone does all his anasheed justice. masha'allah what a talent.

  • Salaam alaikum, subhanaAllah this makes me cry so much, I love my hijab so much and I have been wearing it for less than half a year...subhanaAllah I have been misjudged and treated differently because it. It is hard at times to realize how some people are soo ignorant.. May Allah keep me and all my sisters in Islam firm on wearing hijab the right way. ameeen

  • @TinkerBell2175 Ameen...

  • I LOVE THIS NASHEED. I love my hijab. <3

He has a beautiful voice, mashaAllah.

  • Can't he speak without singing, was he former singer?

  • MashAllah :)

  • i wonder why some people type in both languages in the same sentence, in order to be understood properly, either talk in English or Arabic! it wont make you less of a Muslim not to use Arabic terminology, otherwise type in full arabic!

  • allah ybarik feek...... thank you for uploading :)

  • Islamic Foundation Of Toronto FTW yaaa

    that's my Mosque!

  • WATCH LET THE HIJAB SPEAK

  • Let us control our words, even the prophet {peace be upon him} he knows all the MunafiQ in his time but never did he accused anyone or announced anyones hypocrisy. We dont know whats inside DAUDs heart, Only ALLAH knows.

Lets protect our selves from , i fear that every word we say might come back to ourselves.

As for DAUD . may ALLAH strenghten him with the rest of Us.

    JazahuLLAHU khyran...

  • @jalildica, Not quite, the prophet did not need to say or accuse who was or was not a munaafiq, EVERYONE knew it. Except it is difficult to get them to say that they were a munaafiq, they claimed to be muslims. But in every holy war they would refuse to fight. My point is that he is spreading BAD image about islam and the prophet and the muslims. THAT is my point, i really dont care what he does whether is a bad or good muslim it is his problem. Just dont let him deceive people. Just reflecting.

  • @TheQalin Singing per se, especially about Islamic topics, is not Haram.

  • @fandanstan And there isn't any music either! =) Its so nice. Love the lyrics!

  • @TheQalin Did you even listen to it? So pathetic. Or do you not understand english.

  • How is he a Munafiq? Please care to explain thanks as I am not aware he is a Munafiq.

  • oh and this recording of him singing was in my Masjid , right across from my house!! =D

The Islamic Foundation Of Toronto ! =D

  • contrary to what non muslims think, muslim girls look a lot more beautiful with their hijab on, it's a shame some want to take it off, and are ashamed of it, even if it is a major of Islam....

To all my muslim sisters out there, keep your hijab on and feel proud of it! God will reward you in the hereafter.. =D

  • @waterlizardz123 very true...MashaAllah :)

  • I love my Hijab... it preserves my beauties.. coz hijab differenciate the civilizes people than the primitives in clothing.. if im not with my hijab i feel like a cavewoman during the dark ages

  • @Hafsoh

  • bruv i luv dis nasheed and ma mum does aswell..x no music aswell and just sooo true i wear a headscarf and i would like the world to see me with my thoughts or ideas not how i look!

  • Mashallah he understands how we feel this song is so representative of how I feel!

  • Mahshallah. May Allah (swt) help us all strengthen our faith. Dawud's words are so beautiful and touching.

  • I just love his voice and lyrics.

  • Thank You very much. I thought those who wear the hajab were hiding something, shame, a dagger or weapon of somekind, being closed minded, showing an unwillingness to be open or free. To continue to practice oppression and be cloak & dagger people here (Toronto, Canada) where there is a Charter of Rights & Freedoms for all. I was fearfull of the Hajab and this song relieves my fear. Thank You.

  • FREE BY SAMI YUSUF IS BETTER!

  • actually it is not better because it has music in it. This song doesn't. This song is way better because it doesn't have haram.

  • actually there is a great consensus among many scholars that say certain types of music is permissible also sami has his own scholars that he consults! so FREE is better!! also grow up NARUTO! wtf?! are you 3!!!

  • well, more scholars have said that instruments are haram. There is only one we can you and that is a certain type of drums. I have even done my research on music and found that more scholars has said it is wrong and only one that says you can listen as long as it has good meaning. So, the Veil is better. I am grown up. I have had this account since 2005. I only watch the japanese version. The american version is for the kids.

  • @naruto04 maybe u shud do ur own research then... stop blindly following what scholars say islam tells us to seek knowledge. quran says nothing about music.

  • @MonkofChaos ummm..maybe you should do your research. Qur'an 31:6 "But there are, among men those who purchase idle tales, without knowledge (or meaning), to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah and throw ridicule (on the Path): for such there will be a humiliating Penalty. There are also hadiths in the Bukhari talking about the musical instruments being haram. Sheikh Yusuf Estes even did a lecture on it.

  • @naruto04 in that quranic verse did it say the word music? dont say it was referring to music. no man has the right to assume and put forward what verses mean. and about the hadith i no ive seen these id love to debate this with u over msn or sumthin but youtube is inconvenient as i cant get an immediate reply. pm me your email address if u want ill gladly discuss anything, maybe well learn sumthing from it

  • @MonkofChaos The Qur'an did not say for the women to cover their hair, but to hide their "beauty oraments". We cover our hair, because we know what it was referring to. S.Muslim B.#24 H.#5279 the Prophet(s.a.w) says the bell is satan's instrument. S.Bukhari B#69 h#494 says "musical instruments". It is in the same catagory as alcohol and illegal sex.

  • @naruto04 no way is it in the same category as alcohol and illegal sex those 2 were important enough to mention in the quran. and lets suppose that hadith was taken out of this argument. and only Quran was used as evidence, seeing as the word of God is absolute no man can prohibit anything that is not prohibited by God not even by the prophet Muhammad.

  • so whats your point?

  • @MonkofChaos I forgot to add that in every english translation of the Qur'an, it will have in parenthese "music" right by the word "idle talk" or "tales".

  • Bro Dawud its a beautiful song with so much meaning. I hope to wear hijaab soon

  • mashallah

  • WoW!!! U cud hear this nasheed over and over again--its soooooooooooooooooo gud!! ALhamdullilah!!! keep it up Bro Dawud

  • MashaAllah =D

    loved it .. 5/5 + fav

  • Mashallah

  • Guys don't forget the hijab is not primarily for you hair, its to cover your body, sisters you know what I am talking about.

Like this friend of mine was telling me I don't look where I am from (South Asia), because I wear my scarf the "Arab way". She continued to say that " The Turkish style is much better and prettier, so much more fashionable" , " We have a lot of styles". And I was thinking, No you are wrong its not about fashion its about covering! Thanks guys I hope you all understand :)

  • beautiful "i did not wear this scarf untill one year ago" i started crying then :P

  • This beautiful nasheed gave me goosebumps! I have never heard such a beautiful and hypnotic voice before. MashAllah.

  • this is soo beautiful mashaALLAH .. may ALLAH reward him and the uploader 4 this ameen !

  • This is sik trak man. All the sistaz make who don't wera da hijaab shud make da intention to do so. Your soul can taken at any time and the torment for showing your beauty to strangers is severe. It's not cool in trying to emulate the nom-muslim dress code cos success lies in following Allah.

  • This is different than the other version i heard before. But this is probably my favorite nasheed ever!!! I love the purity in his voice. He sounds so good without instruments. He is seriously the best. His rhymes and lyrics are wick'd. Mashaalah:}

  • OMG. That's Islamic Foundation of Toronto!! I Go there!!

  • I went there for Eid Salat once. That was before the mosque on Stoufville road/Leslie street opened.

  • Subhanallah!

  • kwl song ))il fink bout it ...

dawud warnsby ali is soo sik

  • I'd like to dedicate this song to my friend Nada. She represents the purity and innocence of these beautiful words spoken in this song.

  • dis is cool ma mum wears a veil andd she luvs dis aasheed

  • TRUEEE

  • This is such a wiked nasheed!!! All my family love it!! Mashallah it speaks the truth about the "modern" muslims who follow the western style yet annouce they are muslims without evening knowing that they have spoken a lie.

  • Mashallah, that s beautiful

  • true

  • I think this is a very beautiful nasheed.

  • time wasted by arguing... Allah knows best... May He guide whoever He wishes to... and we just spread the truth... not cursing ... thats just not the way...

  • it makes me feel beutiful

  • this song makes u think. hw many muslims are out there that call themselves muslims but u dnt cover up appropriatley or follow the 5 pillars of islam or just think about Allah once in ur day then are they real true muslims? do they have a right 2 be called a muslim?? its amazing hw 1 nasheed can make u think!!

  • Mashallah..

  • MashAllah! I really like Dawud Wharnsby Ali's nasheeds.

  • I love this nasheed so much!

  • That's pretty beautiful, mashaAllah <3

  • Beautiful.

It makes me so strong. I love my hijab. It makes me feel so beautiful

  • Very sweet song, MashaAllah <3

  • beautiful nasheed

    very heart-warming!!!

  • 'Burkha' is Arab dress, not islamic.

    Modest dressing, is Islamic.

    Quite Simple Really.

I Hope Ur Corrupt, And What Seems 2 Be Small Mind Can Understand These Simple Concepts.

  • You talk about women being oppressed, having no rights and the veil being a sign that they have no voice. Its important to note, ISLAM gave rights to women 15hundred years ago.

Its is also important to note that Quran says cover yourself from head to feet, personally, i would never ask my wife or daughter to wear hijab. It causes a segregation in society which Muslims dont need, and i believe a woman dressed modestly and covered is fine.

  • For starters, i think its sad that people are arguing so blindly.

omgWTFn00b - everyone is entitled to there own opinion, that includes you. However, it seems you left Islam without reading up enough. I know, and have witnessed many people embrace and come close to leaving Islam. Many of them pose similar questions that you do.

Islam promotes knowledge. ANYONE that denies evolution is a fool.

Where does it say in the Quran evolution did not happen?

  • Visit thehijabshop. com

  • secondly-i understand why u believ in evolution wholeheartedly, but how can u deny there's a creator behind all of this, truly science does teach that everything happens for a reaon does it not, like why it rains cuz living things need water. so y would it fail to provide the biggest reason of all? the reason for life?

whether u aknowledge it or not, everyone(muslims and non-muslims) feels or knows somewhere in their hearts there's something greater than all of this in this world

  • i'm sure everyone arguing their point here has background information of what they'r talking abt..since we all had to learn it throughtout all of primary and secondary school..duh! so don accuse people of not doing research

  • Well said najma!

  • sorry is it me or is she starting to bug us

  • beautiful voice Mashallah...and He's Canadian too, extra points for him hehe...selaam

  • Hey everybody needs to chill out,

you're all entitled to your own opinion, but please do not insult Islam, and we won't insult you. It's Ramadan,

    peace everybody.

  • Salaams, jazakallah for uploading this video! :) It's a beautiful nasheed. Ignore the hate & trolls, celebrate the beauty & love. Peace out!

  • i really like his voice mashallah

  • you know what i hate...when men are the ones speaking for women. no man can understand what women go through and that's why we get the cluster fuck of islam. i left islam and i'm never going back...its the one religion i can say exploits women and encourages chauvinism. why should someone tell a female to cover up her body to prevent rape...why do women get the blame when men are the ones who can't keep junior zipped up. disgusting.

  • as a muslim i think ur mad...enjoy hell tell me how it goes...

  • i can't wait to be damned for all eternity...if the quran is any indication, i'd rather live down there with good ol' shaitan rather than with you crazy motherfuckers.

  • can i also add if u red the quran and went thro the hadiths theres many other reasons for the hijab not only for protection. jazakullah

  • you're an idiot...there is no USE for a hijab other than to help "posses" a woman. a result of a vast imagination and a reason to create boundaries for women. why should women wear cover themselves up so much when men don't? and don't give me the crap that men do have a hijab...its a fucking joke. the idea that women need protection from men...its the 21st century.

are you scared now? you better be. now go bury yourself in your book of lies. happy rama-fucking-dan.

  • oo dear i think i hit a nerve. u no what i feel sorry for you i really do. im still trying to work out whats wrong with u...maybe ur just a retard either way enjoy life while u can and ill wave to u from heaven in the next life(inshallah) i hope u have a great time in ur grave whilst getting punished. ull remember me wen ur slapping urself coz ull one day no that i was right :D btw im 15 u shud be ashamed that im young and right and ur proberly in ur 20-30s with no life and living a lie...

  • hey bozo, i'm 17 thank you very much. and i feel ecstatic that i'm only 2 years older than you yet you're so ignorant. i bet you didn't even understand/read over my comment. classic islamic characteristics...ignore everything negative and go do afternoon salah.

and thanks - i'll live my life well. i feel sorry for you because you're gonna waste it all in the lies...or heck, maybe in a few years you'll rebel and go drinking or some shit. ooo real devout.

  • secondly i dont fear a kafir so the answer to ur question is N-O...

for everyone that is reading this im very sorry but it had to be sed and since noone else was doing anything i thought i wud...inshallah u all have a great Ramadhan with ur family and friends and inshallah the devil doesnt get to u like he has to her.

    RAMADHAN MUBARAK TO U ALL

  • and tell me, who's the one wasting their life? me or you? wasting fuck knows how much time doing salahs or me who has an free-thinking mind and can actually contribute, associate with and be part of society. have fun...maybe some day you'll figure out the truth and burn the book of the greatest lie ever told...OH sorry i mean the kuran.

  • heey again :D... im really enjoying our little arguments together. there making me laugh coz ur soo blind and stupid its unbelievable.

firstly can i say that Quran is spelt with a 'Q' and secondly im not stupid i can read and i red ur comments - full of bullcrap if u ask me. u no what it was ur destiny to not follow islam so lets just forget it.

enjoy hell, punishment in the grave, the rest of ur life, ur drinking, smoking if u do, ur hair (not in a hijab and clubbing..cya on the DOJ

  • there's not an only way to spell it, dickwipe. but do you REALLY want me to go through your comments and pick out spelling/grammar mistakes? didn't think so.

i'm done with you. what am i trying to achieve here anyway? convert you? it's wasting my time. i don't give a shit what you do with your life...but maybe some day you'll use your brain for once and realise its all bullshit; though i doubt it. fanaticism-fest mubarak (i.e. ramadan).

  • am i fuckin talking about my grammer here ermmm NO u just havent got an answer for me nw and u chatting bare shit so jus shut da fuck up nd miss from here!

and ma spellin nd grammer got nuthin to do with you or any of this so HAA! nd dis is hw da new generation writes nd dats sumfink u dont kno bout so shut da hell up nw. i think islam is great islam is a way of you u kno why? cuz i know its MY RELIGION u havent got 1 dats y u gettin jealous prik

  • am i the one with the problem? you're just pissed off that i live my life without following any stupid faith or wasting my day on a useless story book...you can't take it that i can live with no fear while you're hanging onto some fantasy. you need to get your emotions in tact.

and no, i'm anything but jealous...why would i be jealous when i left the religion WILLINGLY you dumb fuck tard.

  • hahahahaha lol yh exactli. nw shut up nd dont reply cuz i dont want to waste my time on sum stupid boi like you!

  • hahahaha so you believe that we should just go out and be animals, you are so stupid, this life is just a test, this life means nothing, what about when we die? what happens then

  • obviously, nothing. our brains consist of numerous chemical reactions and when we die they shut down. our bodies break down into the soil and we cease to exist. that's probably hard for you to grasp so i won't expect you to even understand what i'm talking about.

  • ok so who made our bains, why are we here? why is any og f this here

  • we're the result of millions of years of evolution...i hope you know what that is. we didn't always look like this...humans were something close to apes once and we've evolved and our brains grew. we have evidence.

we're on earth because we're alive, there doesn't have to be a specific reason for our existence.

    man you're stupid...go read a primary school biology book...honestly.

  • you are the stupid one, no point in life, no reason haha thats a good one, why do we wake up in the morning, why do we have feelings if there are no consequences, and evolution are you for real lmao

  • uh, everyone creates their own reason to live; like a father living for his children or a teacher living for her job. Why does god have to be the one to dominate those kinds of decisions for us?

holy shit...arguing with those muslims was one thing, but i'm REALLY wasting my time with someone who doesn't even believe in evolution. you'd have to be a primitive idiot not to know that it's proven fact. please don't respond to me; it's degrading even trying to explain to you.

  • there is nthg as evolution. all the creatures since created (by creation i dont mean born i mean the first species made by God) dies exactly with the same physics shape. if u believe in evolution dude ok then wht about all the other creatures tht no theory of evolution was made or proven about them. another thing is who created tht first creatures tht evolved according to your theories.

  • how about do a little research first before making yourself look like a complete idiot? your statement is ALREADY faulty because creatures have not always been the same; we have proof of that. can you explain why we found fossils dating millions of years that share similarities with animals that we know today? or did allah just put them there for us to look at? you have no proof and you know nothing about cells, the human body or evolution enough to even begin to refute it.

  • omg, you are delusional...

you believe that something can be created from nothing without a creator...

but i don blame you... you are a result of false propaganda and are helping in perpuating it.

don talk about proofs when there is none...

don talk about lack of knowledge unless you yourself are an expert. God Almighty is the Most Wise..

  • finally, if homosapiens evolve from monkeys, how come there are still monkeys anf gorillas. the first fall proof in the theory of evolution is tht all the monkeys since they undergone all the same conditions are supposed to be extinct and human should have replaced all of them. other wise when u see a monkey do u think tht this is a man who didnt make it ...?!?!?

  • ya i guess then that you are arguing with 95 percent of the world

  • OH IS UR REASON 2 LIVE to go n find out how evolution created us?

  • I was just reading a comment where you replied to someone else using the word 'degrading' well don't you think by saying tha us humans were once apes or CLOSE to apes is just degrading youself and every human who lived is living and will live?!!

  • there's EVIDENCE! what evidence is there for allah? can you answer that? let me: there is none. there's only a broken theory and a book that has gotten most of its so called "scientific" ideas from the early greek philosophers.

i'm not degrading myself; you're degrading yourself. to believe some magic man in the sky rules everything you do, everything that will happen to you and how you should live your life...it truly is sad.

  • shut up how dare u diss such a beautiful relion as islam if u dont wanna bleev den plz keep ur comments against us 2 urself peace 2 evri1!!!!! 4rm england!!!!

  • hahahah ur kinda funny really so u left islam n now ur trying 2 make ppl leave it too-um i dont think that will happen cuz non of us r stupid like u-SELAM 2 ALL OF ISLAM:)

  • if u h8 us dat much den wots da point of coumin here and listenin to our nasheeds u mental or sumfink cuz i think u r go get ya brain checkd u b smoking dat shit al da time course u guna get mental!

oh and yh sayin al dah stuf bout our religion lemme ask u a qustn do you even kno wa religion u belong to? OH NO sorry i don't cuz im such a diked i dont kno

we muslim ppl ave gt a life your da 1 hu has to get a life all u b doin is smokin sum shit nd drinkin ermmm yh GET A LIFE PRIK!

  • OMG what the hell are you saying? learn to type properly for fuck's sake.

and from what i can make out of your useless dribble: no i don't have a religion, i don't smoke and i'm very happy with my life; its amazing. thank you very much.

  • U may be one whos converted out of islam but alhamdulillah theres many people who converted to islam. Many of these are western women who now wear hijab. Say as u wish, we know what is in our hearts as women, and we do what we WANT, for Allah. Not for men or anybody else. I pray Allah guides you. You youtube name explains it all! Calm down and see the deeper meaning of life

  • MashAllah....i love this Nasheed. it tells the story of a true Hijabi...one that have pride in their hijab and take it seriously

  • mashAllah i love the lyrics...

  • what amazing words..

  • Salaam! If you go to the link *will you hate me?*, the question about music: There is no music in what Dawud says, except in his voice. There is no guitar, violin, flute. no. However, it is said in the Qu'ran, (i do not know exact refrences) that music lovers will be greatly attracted to Al-Dajaal. And thats bad.

  • MashAllah! "faith is more essential than fashion"

  • Great song, very beautifully written

  • ma sha ALLAH its really good

Barek ALLAHu fih Its such a good felling when a muslim girl hears someone singing a song only 4 her

    barek ALLAHu fih w ALLAH

  • i was talking to the guy who wrote this on page 2

  • Awesome song. Hey all check out my Dawud Wharnsby videos!!! (click my name)

  • tom boy....u are so ignorant..if u think muslims are so bad..why are u watching these video...how did u find it and why use ur "time" on a "worthless" people as u say.....think of what u are doing then say somethink

  • I agree, this video is for Muslims, if you don't like it then why watch it? This video is for us, go some place else if you wish to spread offensive comments.

  • i checked out ure vids. theyre fantastic masa'allah.
