Do you ever have problems with the 20 when its cold? I like the 30 nice for splicing nids one hand. My 20 seems to get jacked when its cold or if theres a little wind and iv sent it in a few times.

@fxdgearider... just turn the wheel every once in a while... nothing big. havent used the 30 yet.

One question.. so does the shrink tube have to be put over the fibre BEFORE you splice it?

@remsterk... yes heat shrink is a rigid heatshrink tube with a steel reinforcement rod inside. once heated, it is sealed and good to go...
