Paul Gardner (RIP) was my fav Numan bassist but for Gary's jazz/funk period, Pino Palladino was simply awesome on I,Assassin.
IMHO, Pino made that album which without his bass work, it would have clearly displayed how much Numan was losing his way musically at this stage.............
Joe Hubbard? Great bassist but I'm not a huge fan of the Warriors album...

Numan's '82 to '84 albums are still the best bass I've ever heard.
