  • Goodness geez, this brings back memories from Florida, 1985. This was my groove! Musta practiced this song a thousand times to get it right on guitar and vocals. Nobody quite like GM, tho.

  • I´m an absolutely straight woman who absolutely loves Wham! and George Michael. He´s gorgeous!

  • Why is it so many people think you can't be a hetrosexual and love this music ? It doesn't mean you gay it just means you have good taste !

  • this is real music-not like all the Rand B trash around-who willremember todays music in 30years time?

    nobody cos its so bad

  • I HAVE THIS ALBUM STILL & WILL PLAY IT IN A HEARTBEAT

  • awesome song

  • i love his voice, this song just makes me smile :) right from the beginning all the way to the end. and i wanna belt it out !

i kinda wish i lived thru the 80s sometimes when i hear the music they had...

  • @Cerucir Hi how are you? I think your 100% right george michael has got a amazing, beautiful voice, he is probably one of the best musicians alive...His song writing credibility is absolute awesome, Its so funny coz he wanted to be a lawyer..lol..he always thought he wasnt nice looking, that he wasnt talented, that he wouldnt have a nice voice....but he matured when he was at school, his looks changed & he became such a handsome nice looking popstar..he has one of the best voices in the world...

  • @sunnysxyz I'm really good thx :) i didn't know that about him. thank goodness he's a musician, i love his music.

i'm kind of a new fan of him. I first of heard of him only maybe 4 yrs ago ha..but i started paying attention to him and Wham! when i got into high school so..

  • For the people putting down hip hip and acting like this was a sound of the 80's, this was actually a throwback song even then heavily borrowing from the motown sound particularly smokey robinson's light singing.

  • if someone like joe mcleldry or one direction re made this now, this wud be massive coz its a proepr cheezy 80's pop song lol

  • My No.1 song in all whams~

  • You forget how many great songs wham did this is in my wham top ten

  • This was back in the day before hip-hop ruined everything lol

  • Opeth was inspired by this band!

  • One of my favourite groups of the 80's.

Had them all over my bedroom walls, along with Culture Club, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Haircut 100. Love ALL of their songs and they all bring back great memories of being a teen in that decade. WHAM 4EVER XXXX

  • thanks for posting this. I love this song. I used to have like 90% of these photos when I was a teenager. he was so hot. I used to have a mad crush on him when I was in highschool back in the 80's. :) i still remember drooling over him. lol!

  • GREAT SONG! TheJKill69, no, they weren't. George said as much...that Andrew was arrow-straight. As a previous poster said I believe he's married and settled playing golf in England somewhere. Makes me sad to see all of George's legal (and emotional?) troubles. I pray he can get help (and frankly, accept Jesus Christ as Lord) before its too late for him. (Yes, I know his father was a strict Catholic...George may have had "father issues". He wasn't born gay, rest assured).

  • No puedo más!

  • amazinggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • class wham a lot better than duran duran

  • el mejor grupo del pop es wham y punto

  • love thIs song!

  • This is good but I like the Isley Brothers version better

  • plz tell me these two were not a couple?

  • @TheJkill69 they totally were. unfortunate since Andrew Ridgeley was meant to be mine. <3

  • @TheJkill69 if who two were a couple? George and Andrew? No way. Andrew was totally str8. Funkyspice is wrong if that is what she's refering to.

  • Thumbs up if you're a straight guy who absolutely loves Wham! ;D

  • @LBJTV yep..i loved wham uk, duran, bananarama, and depeche mode. and i'm straighter than an arrow.

  • @LBJTV haha great post LB yep married 4 children ,, love wham. im an 80s child, greatest years and wham reminds me of them ..

  • @frillylizzard 4 children? Jesus, i guess you WERE there.......

  • @dkthg ha ha Yeah 4 kids . not for the faint hearted i tell ya.

  • @LBJTV And thumbs up if you´re a gay gut who absolutely loved that comment!

  • @healhurt guy not gut:)

  • gracias a uds cambie

gracias a mi idolo george michael y andrew ridgeley

  • q alguien me diga como se llama una cancion de wham q empieza parapapaparaba

  • Even the LONE RANGER needed a sidekick. Tonto=Andrew Ridgely. Fate and history can be so cruel sometimes. we know that George hangs out in bathrooms but where in the hell is Andrew now ?

    a

  • @stvnrbbns

Andrew left the music career and went for the movies. He was later known as Sylvester Stallone.

Just kidding,..but on some pics he has the same eyes ::)))

  • Even the LONE RANGER needed a side kick. Tonto= Andrew Ridgely (I think). We know george hangs out in public bathrooms, but where is Andrew now? Oh , history and fate can be so cruel.

  • @stvnrbbns Andrew lives in cornwall right now where he plays golf most of the time..

    Don't hate on George..

  • fantastic cancion

  • 1984 was such a wonderful, carefree time full of non-stop great music no matter what genre it was in. Just listening to the opening notes transported me back. Glad I got to live through those times.

  • @PoxyBear Me too!!!

  • Much prefer the original Isley Brothers' version.

  • i was there and i do know..

  • Love it!

  • This song is like the perfect pop song. So peppy, try listening to it and not smiling and remembering the 80's! :)

  • I love this song..brings me back so much memeories...!!

  • I love Wham! x)

  • I Love WHAM (L)

  • this wonderful song was written by the isley brothers, wasn´t it?

george made it better and bigger! genious!

  • I agree! One of the rare occasions when a cover version is really better than the original ...

  • Wham e George Michael fazem uma parceria muito legal. Os vídeos e as músicas que cantam são demais!!! Desde a década de 80, na minha adolescência, suas músicas fazem parte da minha vida. É tremendo. Abraço a todos.

  • i like this song

  • @dymphna1 I feel your pain!!! :)

  • I sighed at your comment, then I laughed at your username, then I burst into fits of uncontrolled hysterics at the favourites list on your channel. 50+ videos of girls showing their asses? Hahahaha, you lonely man.

  • @LordLampost TOP answer!!! wham bam thank you mam!!

  • @LordLampost I love you LordLampost!!! Poor lonely homaphobe, what's his name over there. His name made me ROTFLMAO. I'm asuming he means cigar bars. Isn't that where there would be butts.

  • @LordLampost Right on man! $10 bucks says "yourhole4mypole" is Charlie Sheen's YouTube account, lol.

  • @yourhole4mypole omg dude your channel hahah xD

    perv!

  • @yourhole4mypole Dear Mr. yourhole4mypole. I think that, with your name & your favourites list, you are truly an amazing person ! Perverted as hell, but very interesting for psychological profiling. Probably even more depraved & interesting than Hitler !

  • @yourhole4mypole Dear Mr. yourhole4mypole. I think that, with your name & your favourites list, you are truly an amazing person ! Perverted as hell, but very interesting for psychological profiling. Probably even more depraved & interesting than Hitler !

  • @yourhole4mypole nice life

  • *** WHAM! FOREVER ***

  • The song writer is on the inlay card!

  • this too is still a good version but of course ppl will say this sounds better than the orignal but lets remeber the original version isfrom the soulful 70's this is pop 80's

  • GM looks a bit weird now that he's older, but he still looks good ... in a sense ;P

Still liked his hair back then!

  • Amazing

  • I love this video. It is one of my favourite songs. George Michael is my idol!

  • Its sort of funny coz everybody thinks george wrote this song, coz he wrote all the songs in wham, they thought he wrote this song, It funny, I wish he did write it coz he sang it milllion times beter than the original version, coz he turned the song around & made it his own, notice how he softens his voice, when he says that way, i love georges voice..he is a gifted singer

  • This version sounds ok, I too like George Michaels voice. But he didn't write this song...it was written by the Isley brothers and the original is off their 3 + 3 album, 1973. BTW, George was only "10yrs old" when the original came out.

  • whta a amazing song how can george write such a beautiful song, I love this song, georhe sings this song from his heart, absolutely brilliant...I love georges voice...He is so gifted..

  • i agree thta this is an amazing song but george didnt write this song sweetie its a remake of the ISLEY BROTHERS SONG....therefore give them the credit that they deserve check it out this was out in the 70's soul era.............

  • the best................

  • Who cares about weather george is this that or the other.

He has made my life greatyer with brilliant songs not only that its not your life to decide about.

he makes people happy with fantastic music.

Im married with three girls and still george rocks!!!

  • I may be ugly to you but I am proud of who I am and NO ONE walks all over me anymore... Personally I HATE THE MEDIA and their ways ofgetting the story.. K1 from the way you came across to me and ohers does make you look mean .. I agree that Wham's songs are great, But at the time I decided to side line iit for a while... As to the media.. They suck.. They killed Pricess Diana, and even MJ.. ESPECIALLY after Bashier's interview.. So cut me some slack..

  • Tothe fools that marked my comment down.. FUCK YOU... I was crazy in love with the guy for a long time and when he came out I was very very sad... Face it He was HOT!!! to the haters get over it and deal with my opinion.. At least I wan't the only who gave away their CDs when that happened.. So the haters better get off my case before I really get UGLY....

  • Hahaha, ok then, let's see you get "UGLY" on us then!

So why did you give your cds away? Does his sexuality influence his voice or music in any way? Or did you just buy his cds because he was "HOT". If so, you are a little shallow, huh?

Calling people "haters" when you openly admit to no longer liking someone due to their sexuality? Hypocrisy at its finest.

  • Call it whatever you want bitch... What about you then... Are you a bitch sometimes or are you that way all the time. Someone's coming out USUALLY DOES NOT MAKE THE NEWS... The way he did it was just so wrong... After that He hasn't had a hit here in the states since.. I am guess that I an not the only shallw one then... If you want to blame somoene blame the media and the radio heads for the decline in good music.. I gave my CDs away as it was too painful to hear these songs after that happened

  • Hahaha...oh dear, you're getting a tad angry here, what with the "bitch" comment and use of caps. Relax, this is just a bit of dialogue with a stranger on the internet, save the emotion for your real life peers.

I'm not sure what you are saying about the media. Yes, they did make a circus out of the George toilet scandal, but surely you, as an adult, can see that he didn't intend to come out of the closet in such a dramatic manner, and that the media hype forced him to do it the way he did.

  • If finding out he was gay really ruined his music for you, that's a shame. His music is great regardless of what he gets up to in bed. Don't attribute the media hype around "toilet-gate" as a personal choice on his part, that isn't really fair.

Personally, I coudn't care less about his private life, he's a genuine guy who doesn't hurt anyone and his music is still great.

p.s. There was no need for the nasty PM you sent to me. As I said, relax, this isn't personal.

  • In closing to this.. The media can rot in hell... They will do anyting to scoop a story.. They thrive on the bad and NEVER The good... I do not buy many CDs and the radio is a trash scene.. Besides would they ever play anything from the past 50 plus years? Nope.. Well I just barrow my music from the library and that is that..

  • you are ugly..

  • Io mi preoccupo per te baby...........

  • yikes! @0:13...L@@KS like p0Rno

  • @TheThirio soo true ahhh good times:D

  • @TheThirio I totally agree that the 80s were so much fun, which consisted of Wham & George! This is still a great song to listen to.

  • @TheThirio - MUSICALLY, yes!!!!!

  • Tribute to a classic song, word

  • Like Geoge's voice but not a patch on the original - Ronnie Isley & the Isley Bros - check out the original - leaves wham looking like amateurs in a karaoke contest !!

  • Karaoke? u kidding me give the guy better credit than that. He has a great voice

  • yeh my dad wrote this not me... ill tell him haha

  • RON ISLEY does sound better but like this version as well...y does everyone give wham credit for this song because george did not write this??????i agree with your comment

  • Comment removed

  • His voice is the most beautiful voice ever and will always will be...

  • hahahahaha!!

  • 80's were much better times, we are now closer to hell times of history of humanity. No blind eyes, dont have a illusions and pink glasses in front of your sight.....

    LOVE is all we need.....

    LOVE

  • @vicko77 We are in a mess of shit for sure, Popular culture has degenerated to alltime lows. Maybe it's too much information. I know this for certain because I read posts from teens that say that they hate the music and wish that they were born in another previous decade. We never said that when we were younger,

But then there are good things from progress like biotech and medical technology...so who knows?

  • @endgammer ....... yes, i agree... the biotech and all the science is better now, but somehow our world misses love and arts... now it is about producing art, not to feel it... so muich commercial crap... like in 60s or 70s there were first known people like Dylan, Lennon, ugly geniuses, with no make ups or plastic surgeries but with mind full of musical innovations. as fior now it is only aboout britney spears who after another correction of nose tries to prove us that she can sing... :(

  • BEST GROUP EVER

  • super
