Can you be more specific about what you mean by equipment? The fly tying vise, thread and bobbins can be purchased at many fly shops and at online stores such as J.Stockard. Similarly, the materials can be found at a fly shop as well. The foam can be purchased at craft stores. If this doesn't answer your question, just send me a message and I'll try to help.
that's my pattern i'm gonna use...been using the letort style hooper, it's a pain in the butt to tie and not very durable...pretty much made up my mind i'm fishin only terrestrials all summer from june thru october...great pattern thanx for posting
great fly! ive used it for bluegill and caught some monsters and i also caught some small bass while i was on a trip to diamondback,gulfport,mississippi.
I started tying this fly a year ago and have caught many different species of fish with it.
