I must congratulate you . The Brompton isn't the ideal touring bicycle, but then again remember that many early tourers rode with 4-speed derailleurs and had to use their hands or a stick to shift between big and small chainrings and did not have the benefit of the lightweight camping gear we have today!
@rickskater Nestucca River Road. Challenging. Lots of climbing but NO traffic. Bring a water filter with you, since there is water at the BLM campsites.
Nicely done! Thanks for sharing. I just bought an S6R so I have to ask - how did the Brompton's perform on the hills? I've only hit some short local hills at this point but I'm looking forward to some extended trips. Cheers.

Wow! That's a lot of miles. May I ask what's the best rout from Beaverton to Cape Lookout by bike? Did you take OR-6 West?

@Joe Brompton worked great up the hills. We got ours with -12% reduced gearing option for touring. Were able to climb the hills even loaded.

That looks exhausting but awesome. Msg me if you guys ever come down to SF. A bike tour of wine country is considerably flatter :-)
