  • I'd have liked to have heard that lovely DN4 unamplified; it IS an acoustic, afterall ;)

Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised at how well she sounded through the budget amp!

  • @LarryRickenbacker Unfortunately, the mic in my camera would have done the guitar a disservice. Plus, the expression system closely duplicates the acoustic tones, just louder. Thanks for writing.

  • @LarryRickenbacker Amen

Let's take a beautiful acoustic instrument and "play it through this crummy amplifier"

    Your killing me

  • Need to sell an extra Acoustic or two so you can buy a new Taylor, Martin or Breedlove? Remote Lister can help you do it quickly and easily.

  • Taylor junk

  • @bluegrasssingingman Wanna buy a 1941 Martin 0-17/18

  • @guitartec Wish I could but I already own 3 guitars a 1973 D35. D1R, and a Blueridge BR 160. I have no room for with the guitars, and 3 fiddles. mandolin, and my upright bass.

  • @bluegrasssingingman No prob. BTW... I can relate to your D1R... My D2R is a Killer!

  • @bluegrasssingingman you speak derogative and authoritive wherever you post.Do you time to hate?Perhaps you should move towards a compassionate or perhaps abstinent lifestyle

  • @zaoribah Just maybe. I don't care what you think. If you don't like what i said. about Taylor. It's not my fault they make junk.

  • @bluegrasssingingman

On what basis do you claim they make "junk"? Their product is not "junk" at all. if you don't like the tone, that's fine. I guess the DXK is a piece of art, huh. That is some beautiful koa. Play an 810, and then claim that Bob Taylor knows nothing about a traditional dread guitar.

  • @natreydia Drywall screws in there necks to hold them on. Need to say more.

  • @natreydia Well Martin don't use drywall screws in their necks. I've seen Taylors with no back bracing. Yes their products are junk.Their guitars are worlds apart. Compared to my Martin guitars. Even my Blueridge BR160 blows away a 810. Taylor is like the music most people use them for. POP COUNTRY which is trash.

  • Sorry, the DN4 is long gone. There's a killer Taylor Concert-size (smaller body) guitar that just got put on consignment at the guitar repair shop I work at tho.

  • Oh mannnn.. cant believe i missed this. i want it too.. seriously... do u still have any?

  • i bought it!

  • Please send back the humidifiers.

  • i actually am interested i was not aware you still had it

  • This guitar is still available. Let me know if you have any intertest

  • The guitar is virtually new and it is MUCH nicer than any of the other DN4s (and 700 &800 series) I sampled. Besides the upgraded tuners, I also did nut work to make it play easier in the first few positions and I compensated the saddle to tcorrect the most minor of intonation flaws. It does come with a good case with a hygrometer built in, but it's not a Taylor case. Everyone who plays this DN in my shop is blown away by it. No problem if you're not interested.

  • Suprisingly clear for a pickup on an amp! Great sound.

  • Do you ship it overseas??:)

    Love it...What a Beauty!

  • Thanks!

It depends, where to? I'd do PayPal only and you must pay the int shipping.

  • Picked up this guitar on September 16, and talk about a lovely guitar.

I was originally going to pick up a Martin, but this one caught my eye upon leaving. So, so glad I played this one for awhile. It truly IS like a Martin. It's got a boom to it, but it's still got that sweet mid-range you'd expect from a Taylor. Truly the best of both worlds.

And honestly, I like Ovangkol more than Mahogany.

    Excellent guitar.
