watched last night top 10 fighter planes this plane came in @ no5 , spitfire was n02, i think us brits got hosed... mustang [usa] came no1 with merlin engine[ which is BRITSH] !!!!
The P51, coupled with the RR engine was not only a great combination, but also symbolic of the cooperation between the UK and US during the War. The P51 edges out the Spit because it had 3 times the range of the Spit, and was an offensive fighter. The shorter range of the Spit made it a very good defensive fighter. The planes were comparable in manueverability and speed other than that.
I doubt Walmart would let that happen
