I've spoken to the film's creator, and from what he's said, I doubt it will see full release.

I planned on watching the movie to judge for myself it's nature; If it had been a biased, unfair documentary, then I would then boycott it. But I won't just judge it before it's actually released.

The trailer looks... interesting. It seems to emphasize combatting viewpoints. We won't know until it's out, and to pre-judge it would be as bad as the politicians prejudging gamers as crazy murderers.

I agree with you that we should watch it before passing judgment however odds are it will be unfair and we will have actually put money into the pockets of the idiots who made it. I would ask mr halpin to release a select few copies to various gamer websites (GP for example)who's owners can judge the material and then tell us if it is fair or not. Joe I agree with you but really there is NO way that this documentary will be fair. This is a case where a few naive, ignorant and polemic fools get together with a newbie freelance director and a cheap hand held camera to try to gain publicity ala Michael Moore. The only issue with any form of protest against Moral Kombat however is that even a peaceful boycott would still ultimately be branded as the result of computer games in some manner, with people like Jack Thompson arguing that we were inspired to protest because of subliminal content in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. ;)

I play Resident Evil, Halo, Gears of war, Red Orchestricia, and SWAT4. Red Orchestracia is a VERY little known but incredibly viloent game.
