@ekajeht My S&W 686 is one of the Nicest revolver's I have had the privlage to own, Its one of the few guns I will never sale. So I agree, S&W is a fine company. When I went up to alaska for vacation, my freind who lives up there got out his S&W 500, I dont know if you have had the chance to fire this beast of a revolver but it was impressive. And I agree about the anaconda, which is why I decided to pass, theres other gun's that are Higher on my "To Own" list.
@ekajeht Very nice, I prefer the 6" inch and 8 3/8" barrels my self. The 686 has a 6" with XS tritium night sights since its the gun of choice for next to the bed at night. With all this talking about Fire power, I am going to have to make time this weekend for a session at my local range.
@ekajeht Sounds fun, to be honest I haven't been hunting for a few years now, and then it was with my old rifle. But I do still go out to my uncles farm and pick off rabbits (my aunt makes a killer rabbit stew), and every so often he needs a fox or coyote taken care of because he can't shoot (more like he cant aim) anymore, he is losing his sight due to cancer. The browning is a fun pea shooter, but its a new toy and needs a little more attention, I have only had it out a few times.

This bill has a unconstitional mandate the will require everyone to enter into a contract with a private insurance or pay a fine or go to jail as it will be handled by the IRS. It is unconstitutional to require anyone to purchase a good or service as a condition of lawful residence in the U.S.
You aren't required to buy it if you don't own a car. You buy it because you are liable to hurt someone else as in an accident. Healthcare is a personal choice. Should they require you to buy food and only certain kinds of food or go to jail? Should they require you to brush your teeth so they won't fall out or take you to jail? Do you believe in personal responsibility? If you don't buy home owners insurance and your house burns down, who is responsible?
The reason the gov't wants everyone to carry health insurance is because when you are poor and go to the ER which is outrageously expensive, the gov't pays the bill. (see Hill/Burton Act) The requirement was originally supposed to be accomodated by the Public Option, but that was shot down. So you're right, now that there is no Public Option to buy, there should be no requirement to buy insurance.

@aaronzvz Never fired the 500 yet but did have a 454 at one time.
My 29's have 6" and 8 3/3" barrels.
Factory sights on both.
I did have a 2 power scope on the 8 3/8" barrel for about 20 shots then the scope went to hell.
Where I hunt a long shot is still under 100 yards so the open sights is no prpblem.

@ekajeht Very nice, I prefer the 6" inch and 8 3/8" barrels my self. The 686 has a 6" with XS tritium night sights since its the gun of choice for next to the bed at night. With all this talking about Fire power, I am going to have to make time this weekend for a session at my local range.

@ekajeht Sounds fun, to be honest I haven't been hunting for a few years now, and then it was with my old rifle. But I do still go out to my uncles farm and pick off rabbits (my aunt makes a killer rabbit stew), and every so often he needs a fox or coyote taken care of because he can't shoot (more like he cant aim) anymore, he is losing his sight due to cancer. The browning is a fun pea shooter, but its a new toy and needs a little more attention, I have only had it out a few times.

This bill has a unconstitional mandate the will require everyone to enter into a contract with a private insurance or pay a fine or go to jail as it will be handled by the IRS. It is unconstitutional to require anyone to purchase a good or service as a condition of lawful residence in the U.S.

You aren't required to buy it if you don't own a car. You buy it because you are liable to hurt someone else as in an accident. Healthcare is a personal choice. Should they require you to buy food and only certain kinds of food or go to jail? Should they require you to brush your teeth so they won't fall out or take you to jail? Do you believe in personal responsibility? If you don't buy home owners insurance and your house burns down, who is responsible?

The reason the gov't wants everyone to carry health insurance is because when you are poor and go to the ER which is outrageously expensive, the gov't pays the bill. (see Hill/Burton Act) The requirement was originally supposed to be accomodated by the Public Option, but that was shot down. So you're right, now that there is no Public Option to buy, there should be no requirement to buy insurance.
