I really liked this routine, her first tumbling pass and leaps were really different. I'm glad that wheter or not it was needed to win, she will always be remembered for vaulting on a broken ankle in Atlanta, because she was always very solid and consistent, but never had the glory and attention that many others have had. And consistency and reliability are just as important, so I'm glad she had her moment of sports glory in Atlanta-she deserved it.
If one of Bela's gymnasts even thought or looked at McDonald's food he would invent some new kind of torture. So remind me why they are competing in a competition that has the McDonald's symbol everywhere?
nunno only seemed to be able to coach miller, and miller had a lot of natural talent. kerri's tumbling pass looks much better here than in olympic optionals where her knees were so bent.
@lostlyrarose I agree, it seems like Nunno's training program never quite worked with anyone else besides Shannon. Although he did have success with the Juniors in 93 and 94....Shannon was really his only true standout. On the other hand, Peggy Liddick was able to go to Australia and help build that program. So maybe she had more to do with the program's success?

Nuno and Shannon definately had a special bond as did Kerri and Bela. Kerri looked much better with Bela than she did with Steve.

@lostlyrarose The view from which the layouts were shown was more more forgiving here; I don't think there was much of a difference.
