I'll do calcs for the EVs later (I'm looking at you, gastrodon). It may be a silly gimmick but this set has plenty of surprise value. The only thing this set has over physically based mixquaza is it hits gastodon much much harder. Tell me what you think. Is there any more potential for this set that you can think of?

V-Create will most likely only be useful on things like CB Rayquaza, as the Speed Drop from V-Create is pretty bad with DD and SD (although Extremespeed sort of patches this up, if E-Speed doesn't kill, Rayquaza probably will since now it has -1 on both it's defenses and Overheat is already deadly to what need to die.

Not the best move for Rayquaza, but he could certainly get a worst move.

Ya know what? I think Zekrom would be a better pokemon to get V-Create, due to its also massive attack, and Terrible physical movepool. It could easily counter its Best check, Ferrothorn then. Another great pokemon for this would be Blaziken in the Sun. After a few speed Boosts, He could just wrecks with this, as it would nullify the speed boost, but If Blaziken was already high enough it wouldn't matter. What do you think Tony? :3

It has a monster base attack and the most common sets involve it boosting its attack to god-like levels (Swords Dance and Dragon Dance) while it doesn't get any special attacking boosts. Besides, V-Create is base 180, which means it kills ferro even in rain. In a way, it's the same as if Scizor got Head Smash...

There are some interesting sets you can make with it, although as many stated before, Overheat will more than likely be the superior option. Saying it sucks goes is bullshit though, you're kinda pulling a Mefesto there. I can be used better than Overheat sets in certain ways. That's my opinion though.

@TheOrlly Rayquaza is usually physically offensive since it learns sword dance and dragon dance but not nasty plot. V create is also much stronger than overheat, and doesn't make you lose special attack(granted it makes you lose defences and speed)

Besides, think about SD ray as well.

V-Create Rayquaza will be very interesting. Its probably not as OP as it sounds if you factor in the stat drops from v-create, letting rayquaza be revenge killed pretty easily.

Fire Blast and Overheat can already handle Ferro, so I'd imagine it really only changes the banded set
