Not only do we have Lagiacrus in Tri G to worry about again, but TWO SUBSPECIES! A White Land based Lagiacrus, and a Bioluminescent Lagiacrus also!

I remember running into this guy in the Monster Guts mission. I entreated area 11 and the cutscene started, then it was me, and i absolutely freaked out. THEN it follows me back to area 10! It was terrifying (mainly because it was my first monster hunter game so I didn't know what was going on.).

lots of the MH games like to put you face to face with the flagship monster early on while doing a resource collecting mission. In Freedom Unite, you are in the mountains collecting rare herbs, and out of nowhere tigrex comes to try and eat you.

@alphamone I know. I played Freedom 2 after I finished Tri, and when I saw the Popo Tongue collecting quest, I immediately thought, "ok, something's gonna come out and try to kill me." Lo and behold, Tigrex murdered my ass.

This means either no one hates this theme, or the boats where the haters were were sunk by Lagiacrus.

Lagiacrus is cool don't get me wrong, he's my favorite monster, but if he and Rathalos are rivals, then why has Lagiacrus only appeared in this game?

I want 'em to bring the Lagiacrus back. The way I see it, he'd be reworked to act like the Plesioth. If you're on land, Lagi will pop out of the water to hurl lightning balls or a new water jet at you, and you do something to get him on land. Attack wise; lightning balls, Tigrex esque bite attack, his charge/discharge attack (like Khezu's), maybe a side swppe attack, and then the rest are just like R. Ludroth's.

Ugh, I hated the 'Guts, it's whats for dinner' mission because of this guy. My first thoughts were "You have got to be freaking kidding me -.-' ", but then when he spotted me right off the bat after the cutscene my reaction was "FFFFUUU-" *runs like hell*.

i rember doing the guts is whats for dinner misson and then i saw this guy and was like HOLY JESUS CRIST and i went to fight him round one got killed in like 2 lighting bolts from him second round i died he is still a asshole to this day for me

Round 1 with Lagiacrus- "GET OFF MAH LAND."

Round 2 with Lagiacrus- "GET ON MAH LAND."

While Barrth armor's marathon runner and hunder resistance really made this fight not as ba as it could be, the real monster underwater is the camera. I lost count of how many times I was nderneath Lagia and the Camera kept making me miss his underbelly. XD

that's a battle theme of every monsters in Deserted Isle. without THEROPODS!

@masadekiru1mariolove You can sometimes meet Deviljho on Deserted Island in a upper rank quest. But you will hear Deviljho's theme instead of usual battle theme.

This music really drove home just how major this boss was when I first encountered him. It also drove home that if I didn't get the fuck out ASAP, he WAS going to maul me.

Doesn't this play for Lagicurus, Gobul, and Royal Ludroth if I remember right?

From the monsters I've seen at least, I'm only HR 14 so I know I haven't even seen half the stuff in this game.

It plays for any battle located within Deserted Island, exceptions being Deviljho, and Great Jaggi.

@TheZombieGoast yes, but In my opinion, it suits lagiacrus the most. It sounds like a really epic battle and all, and some parts make it seem like "something is rising" and lagiacrus does come out of the sea to battle as well. In short, this should have been used only on lagiacrus and other bosses should get a minor boss theme.
