This is one of the deepest flashgames I've ever played. People who arn't deep or smart enough, or just play through, not caring about the actual story, won't get it.

I think Pete got into a diabetic coma. I think this because when he fell into that sewer he says he has "hypoinflazatory disorder". Since he is a child (as zacczz explained) he messed up the word that he probably heard doctors say which is "hypoinsulinemia" which is an abnormally low amount of insulin in the blood usually brought on by type two diabetes. Also to "fix" it he needs a "sharp thing". Perhaps an insulin needle?

has anyone played that Scarygirl game? It's a flash game with really cool graphics thats sort of mysterious in a similar way. I suggest playing it on the highest difficulty though because I played it on 'easy' mode and when I got to the end it had no conclusion it just told me to try a harder mode to get further. Pissed me off. Still neat though.

I got the impression the bird was his mum.. and the thing in the sky was a tumor and wanted him to play "forever" in death and him opening his eyes was him waking up.
Has the creator of this game ever commented on the ending?
Plus, at the end when you're releasing those switches to open the brain, you're probably really clearing some of the nerve damage. If you watch some of that black blobs start to disappear when you jump around and the nerves start moving faster like they're healthier. And that Gamboysa dude who was kind of creepy swinging represents some sort of tumor or damage clining to a nerve ending. That's why his mom wanted yuou to play with him and swing to keep you comatose forever.
I think he lives. If you think about the tasks you must complete, they're all tasks to remove fluid or tumors from the brain. Some head trauma must have happened to put him in a coma. But fatty fat cakes swelled up and stopped up the fluid so you had to relieve the pressure. Fatty fat cakes probably represents tumor or some sort of blockage. You think the dad is a bad guy but he's actually good because he tells you to pop fatty fat cakes or he'll kill you (the tumor will). The bird lied on dad.
Wow, these comments about the meaning of the games' end are sure interesting! I would really like to know what's the meaning of the woman in the sky, the other little... creatures (like the father and jon), about the worm in the cave and about the "left-is-right-forest".
I read another theory that someone wrote saying that the reflect was himself in the real world & not him going to his death. The bird lied to him to get him to enter the basement for his own sake. After all, there were many messages telling him to ring the dore bell. Mama Gombossa was probably a tumor which caused the coma so she wants him to stay there for eternally. You can tell she is lying since she held a short pause & wanted Pete to play with Gomgossa Ball with her son Gomboysa forever.
@darkmewsic Well, I talked to the creator of the game and he told me that she is definetly not a tumor. Unfortunatelly that was his only clue for me :-/

I got the impression the bird was his mum.. and the thing in the sky was a tumor and wanted him to play "forever" in death and him opening his eyes was him waking up.
Has the creator of this game ever commented on the ending?

Plus, at the end when you're releasing those switches to open the brain, you're probably really clearing some of the nerve damage. If you watch some of that black blobs start to disappear when you jump around and the nerves start moving faster like they're healthier. And that Gamboysa dude who was kind of creepy swinging represents some sort of tumor or damage clining to a nerve ending. That's why his mom wanted yuou to play with him and swing to keep you comatose forever.

I think he lives. If you think about the tasks you must complete, they're all tasks to remove fluid or tumors from the brain. Some head trauma must have happened to put him in a coma. But fatty fat cakes swelled up and stopped up the fluid so you had to relieve the pressure. Fatty fat cakes probably represents tumor or some sort of blockage. You think the dad is a bad guy but he's actually good because he tells you to pop fatty fat cakes or he'll kill you (the tumor will). The bird lied on dad.

I read another theory that someone wrote saying that the reflect was himself in the real world & not him going to his death. The bird lied to him to get him to enter the basement for his own sake. After all, there were many messages telling him to ring the dore bell. Mama Gombossa was probably a tumor which caused the coma so she wants him to stay there for eternally. You can tell she is lying since she held a short pause & wanted Pete to play with Gomgossa Ball with her son Gomboysa forever.

@darkmewsic Well, I talked to the creator of the game and he told me that she is definetly not a tumor. Unfortunatelly that was his only clue for me :-/
