This is the first interview I've watched of him since then... and I'm not ashamed to say that right now I'm literally sitting here crying cause apparently I still haven't gotten over the whole experience! ;_;

If you look back to the early 80s, you'll actually see that Adam Ant's look/image wasn't the same as Johnny Depp's despite being based on a pirate theme. Therefore Adam Ant is actually copying Johnny Depp's interpretation of a pirate theme so it isn't the other way around as you so passionately suggest. Kind regards.
