Do you ever play in an open tuning, Kappa? Mesmerizing songs like this work wonderfully in open tunings, with their added ability to play chord variations and get some note combos that are hard to create in standard. Open tunings also have a magical, almost spiritual flavor to them.

This song would also be fabulous on the piano, or with piano layered on. Pulling back on the guitar and using more gentle layering (piano, cello) for depth would spotlight the breathtaking vocals a bit more.

:))) Thank you....I play bluegrass a lot in open G and D....so if I sit down to play by myself....I always migrate to a funky key sound that I like....I'd get growled at if I tried to play in that key at a bluegrass jam....and I totally understand why...so I do it by myself at home...As far as adding other stuff....I'll let my producer know!! :))) Just kidding....I agree a cello will be great, but I can barely play a rough C scale on it now...it will take a litte time to learn...:))
