Level 9 computers aren't a basis on which one is better, its the skill of the player. Just because Ike won doesn't mean Marth is inferior to him.

@rkyle29 Thank you! And yes, I totally agree that it's the player's skill that determines how a match will go. However, having two level nine computers is the closest thing to having a perfect balance of skill, so that the scales aren't tipped in favor of the more skilled player.

Well you have to take into consideration Marth's speed in comparison to Ike, I'm sure that Ike would be good against someone either slower than himself or much lighter than himself. Whereas Marth really shines against people who are about as sturdy as him but slower. At least that's how I feel.

@TheMarthLowell I didn't choose the winner. Like I said in the video, I simulated the battle 10 times with two Level-9 computer players. Ike won 6 out of 10 battles; it was very close. I was expecting Marth to win due to his speed, but I was proven wrong.

@Burnitopia Well if we compare this in the actual Fire Emblem style. Marth would win. Ike has powerful moves in FE: PoR, but Marth has and insane amount of Luck, Skill, and Dodge rate. But, either way Marth wins in both, he's the 6th highest tier character in Brawl, and the 2nd highest tier in Melee.

Though, in Brawl and Melee, results vary, while in the actual FE game, it matters by stats.

But here's what I can say, Marth has a divine sword, but it is forged from the fangs of a legendary dragon that all the humans praised as a god, which is pure badass, how many times have you heard a blessed by a goddess or crafted by legendary human blacksmiths, a lot. Forged from dragon fang's, not so much.

But still, Ephraim and Marth are awesome.

Of course ike won, Ike is a battle hardened mercenary who has learned from experience and has had to fight for his very life on several occasions, marth is fucking prince who hasn't had any real experience with fighting, his daddy probably hired some trainer to to help him but he never learned from it and didn't have experience, his moves may be flashy but i did a tea=st as well and ike won straight off the bat in the very first fight, AESOME VID and GGGOOO IKE!!!

@TrooperReaper actually, Marth didn't have it all that easy. His story says that he was exiled from his kingdom when a former ally attacked. In the end, he fought and took down the dark dragon Medeus in the original Fire Emblem. By the way, does anyone notice that the majority of the Fire Emblem lords have either a dead father, dead mother, or both? [SPOILERS] Ike and Marth both lost their father in the war, as well as Ephraim, Eirika, Hector, and Eliwood, while Lyn lost both. [/SPOILERS]

if deadliest warrior was as accurate as this, then MAYBE i'd be more interested in the show. The tests that they perform on some of the weapons makes no sence. for example: when they were testing the differences between a nail bomb and an M69 Grenade. they tested the nail bomb by setting it in a room filled with dummys and saw how much damage it could do. instead of testing the M69 under the same cerumstances, they dropped it in a washing machine and watched it blow up. MAKES NO SENCE!

there is so many reasons why this would never work. first...the testers would be mega geek nerds with no strength whatsoever. secondly...none of the weapons are real and would be impossible to actually make. third....there is no history about these 2 charactors. if this ever happened (which it wont) it would be about a 10 min episode. fourthly if im not correct forgive me but i think these charactors have actually foght against eachother before and you just look at who won...
