Very cute! I mostly only see them on the beach or around lakes a rivers, not near my home. Just as well, the cars would get them and I would be sadly picking them up from the streets.

Just saw a pair and its chicks yesterday in front of my bank I had no idea what they were till i looked it up the chicks were so cute but I only saw 3 I just hope I just didnt see the 4th and it was ok

No sir, these birds don't fly..... The earth just rejects them into the sky after they get a couple of days old. Hahahahahahaha!

Yep. I am kind of fluffy around the mid-section. Yes sir, isn't it a lovely lawn, mostly weeds and Georgia red clay.

Wow. I never measured ours before, but a conservative estimate would put it at about 30,000 square feet. Americans over indulge in just about everything. I loath the mowing and maintenance with this lawn, but our dogs love it.
