I suppose I could agree if it didn't look so overcast, although the video isn't the clearest.
It dissapears before the end of the lens, so surely then if the reflection stopped short of the end of the lens (that is small) its one in a million and pure chance in your opinion.
I dont know what it is, like I said before.
My opinion is that it is an object outside the lens.
So, you think it was a yawn? Or are you saying, discussing a video you posted bores you?
How do you explain that whatever it is doesn't exit the frame but instead fades out very quickly? Your description says that it goes behind the bridge but you can see that it does not. Your description also ask for explanations which I was happy to give. I'm willing to say I'm wrong if a better explanation were offered. I assumed you wanted a discussion to occur.
I dont know what it is, as you have read the description I shouldn't have to explain this.
In my opinion it isn't a light reflection from some other object as it moves across the camera far too slowly to be (FOR EXAMPLE!) a car door opening and running a light source across the lens, this would be a flash and distort far more of the full screen.
No, I really thought I did reply but we had a couple conversations so it must be the other that I'm thinking of. I honestly didn't think you had removed it. Sometimes I get lazy and read a comment, think of the reply and decide it's too much effort to type it out. Probably the case this time.
Anyway, The camera lens is a small surface and something moving slowly, like a car door, could cause a light to move quickly across that small surface. Typically light hitting a lens will cause flare.
This, I assume, is the full screen distortion you mentioned. I would agree if the light hit the lens in a more straight on way. That is that it came in the front element toward the shutter and caused a glowing appearance. What I'm suggesting is the light coming from below the lens and striking only the first surface of the front lens element. This light could cause that surface to light up and this is what the camera is capturing.
I would still like to hear what you think it could be.
A bug would have to be close to the camera to even be visible, that thing goes in between the bridges, clearly further from the camera than what a bug would be seen.
I think its too big to be a rod, also it seems to go from a fast pace across the water then just out of sight in milliseconds as if accelerating very fast towards the end of the clip, like into the horizon like lightning, watch carefully.
It was Harry Potter on his flying broomstick.

It's light hitting the lens.

From where?
The camera isn't moving its stationary, so your saying its light being reflected from somewhere onto the camera??
MinDBlanK1 2 years ago
Yes.

Your too funny

I'm happy that I amuse you. What do you think it is? Have you never seen reflected light hit a lens?
Believe me, if it were in fact extraterrestrial, I'd be thrilled. Please offer your explanation of this phenomenon.

Hmm, I don't see the comment I posted in reply. Was it removed? Maybe I'm mistaken and I never replied although I'm sure I did.

Nope, you never replied. Or are you not asking?

I doubt it would have made the news otherwise xD
Thanks for posting
