I remember the 14500 series super7's,built on a new plataform by GE,the original super7,the 14000 series were built from kits in mexico on rebuilt frames from old U30C-U36C-C30-7 locomotives,a hundred built like that,a hundred built new and last but not least, the 39 C30super7-MP,virtually a full dash8 with microprosessor tecnology, but lower horsepower many of this went to brazil after KCS de mexico sold'em,they only kept the former 15000 series motors since they're more compatible with AC44's

I remember seeing the Super 7's when I was a kid in Mexico that blue paint job was and still is my favorite of any railroad it's a shame FNM is now long gone though
this was filmed back in 1990!!! wow very impresive u found this videosthis engines were very popular among many railfans in mexico i bet they goin to love this video , i guess this engines may wont even be on service anymore 2 thumbs up ,favorite and share on facebook and you tube
@xXDJIndeedXx Look at the title, and it will show you that this video was shot 20 years ago, in 1990, making this video older than you. Besides, FNM is a fallen flag, it was split up between Ferrosur, Ferromex and TFM (now KCSM) between 1998-2002
