It's hard to explain, but it clear that Transformers are more than just robots. For example every Transformers has a spark, which is basically there soul or life source and you can't just build a new Transformer, there a whole process to create a new spark.

Of course, were Starscream so arrogant, he would have forgotten about his other forms. Were he the current one, though, he would have utilized them to the fullest extent. Barring the possession of Rainbow Dash, though, the fight would have still probably ended up the same way, albeit a bit closer, kind of like the Dr. Wily/Eggman fight.

However, Steve Blum (of Cowboy Bebop fame, among other things) makes the current Starscream what he should have always been, a cold, ruthless, calculated killer who takes nothing from no one. Had the G1 Starscream been like that and had his 2003 fusion form, then this fight would have been an even more epic fight.

Of course, although I never saw the new My Little Pony series, I'm glad that they at least learned a few things from some shows that I like, namely, the Powerpuff Girls and My Life as a Teenage Robot and that they learned a sense of humor and good dialogue, too. First of all, if you had watched Beast Machines back in the early 2000s, you would have known that Megatron could possess anything, and I mean anything. First of all, Starscream could have done two things to make this thing fall into his favor. Granted, he is a mediocre Decepticon at best. However, in the 2003 to 2008 series and the 2010 to current series on the Hub, he is a beast to be reckoned with. I will go into detail on how Rainbow Dash could lose (even though her powers are quite underestimated) to Starscream.
