@SoldierCyfix Technically you wear whatever your told to wear which, atm is the ACU and the Dress Blues and you can have the boots in whatever color you want as long as the color you want is tan :D

@SoldierCyfix For the US Army it is desert tan boots for ACU. Unless you're in Class A Green or Blue you're going to wear black shoes. We also have CVC, CBRN, wet weather gear, softshell winter uniform, poncho camo.. etc.. All of them required you to wear ACU from inside and with tan boots. Unless it is too hot or humid, you might have to downgrade by taking off your ACU blouse.

Most of people in the military are good. But they are too often USED by politiciants to their own evil purposes. And thats what makes them just a tool in evil peoples hands. I think armies are necessary because we all let our fear go out too quickly and we have to defend from those who are more controlled by fear than we are. And these are politicians who create this fear.

i enlisted in the army as airborne infantry, and i ship to basic in july...i cant wait to start serving!!!!!!!! and also even though i havnt made any sacrifices yet or done anything i still feel proud that i am doing this, and when people find out i am enlisted and enlisted as, some say i have more balls then them or more guts then them, or if they say like "mad respect for that" it makes me feel good...so i cant wait to start training to become part of the best fighting force in the world!!!!!

for everybody leaving, make sure you have confidence in your training when you leave for deployment. some soldiers forget what theyve been trained to do and theyre on the list... do you wanna be on the list?

I appreciate what you have to say; however, not everyone is on "the list" because they didn't remember their training. We are so proud of our nephew who was well trained and remembered his training but lost his life just a week ago in battle not due to anything he forgot but because it is part of battle.
