Hello! if you are learning russian i could help you, i'm studying english so i want to improve some language skills, and it refers to any english speakers, who have skype or something like this
@starsoverthere Kak oo tebya dela? is if you're asking one person how are you ?. Kak oo vac dela is when your referring to more then one person. Like, how are you all doing?
@starsoverthere Kak oo tebya dela and kak oo vac dela (Как у тебя дела, И как у вас дела?) both mean "how are you" or litallary in english "how are things." you will find that in Russian that forms of teba ( тебя) are always used in informal sitituations. Whereas "vac" (вас) is always always formal. that is the only differance in those two pharases
i already know how to speak russian, but i know only the basics and only a bit of advanced. i cant find anything to help me out to actually learn more advanced russian.
i found a web site that has the russian alphabet and the sounds the letters make. then you use google language tools to translate an english word into russian and break it down from there. thats how i learned. hope it helps
Perfect way to learn russian, the hard part is the alphabeth, I still can"t find a good way to learn that but for basic phrases this channel is great. "Bashol Spaseeba"
Heh, after trying so many different Russian language aids I believe this is the first to truly teach me how to CORRECTLY say hello (formally) in Russian. :)
Hello,my name`s Alex. I`m russian. If You say all these words by yourself, your russian is quite good. if you have some problems with the language, I`ll help you with pleasure)))
Repetition is how you learn. That's the whole point of any audio course, is to repeat the words until you can remember. But I appreciate the feedback!
My advice is to change the (in my opinion tiresome) "How would/do you say...?" to other phrases from time to time, like maybe "What's the russian expression for..?" "What's the correct reply to..?" "Say in russian.." or just "Say..."
@solodoff I strongly disagree with CillRevada. Repetition = consistency.
That's a good thing to have when learning a language like Russian, that can can leave you in a confused smoldering heap in an instant and never look back.

Very nice, but I have a question.
Is Russian grammar similar (more or less) to english grammar?
Thanks

@DisneyWorldVeteran Russian grammer is no where similar to english grammer.

did he just say cock?

This does no good unless you have the russian word to look at while you're trying to say it, to get yourself familiar with the actual words.

I was taught to just say "как дела?"
What does adding the "у" or "oo" do?
achokingvitcim 1 year ago
@achokingvitcim because "Как дела" means how are you, however it is a period joke in Russian as well.

if i didnt only like to say good in reponse to the question "How are you?"...
Would "u menja vse (ocheen) horosho" be correct?

@TheAnGerman Yes that would be correct :)

Ocheen pri-yatna = very pleasant is almost the same as in german. Here you say "sehr erfreut" literally meaning "very pleased (to meet you)"
I love russian

What is the difference between "Kak oo tebya dela" and "Kak oo vac dela"??
starsoverthere 1 year ago
@starsoverthere
Kak u tebya dela is informal whereas Kak u vas dela is formal.
So, if you're talking to someone you don't know or is older than you use the latter, if it's just your buddies, the former...

@solodoff do you know this then .. Hej mali kako ide ruski jezik? izgleda dobro eh? :)

The words are too fast to repeat, and I didn't know what I was saying, myself. ^^; It would be good if you said it slower maybe.
Thanks for the video though~

Very repetitive, to the point of annoying, with the "How would you say...? How would you say...? how would you say?"
