it looks so slow and laggy, compared to the iphone where the animation and movement is attached to the finger, here it's like 0,5s delay for every finger swipe he makes. Like 1:20, he moves finger to scroll and it starts to scroll at the time his finger already left the screen - that will be pretty annoying if you have a lot of contacts and heed to delay-scroll like that 5-6 times. 0:40 the screen scrolls to the left after his finger already left the screen. and it's like that for every thing.

baring in mind this was before the phone was realesed and has been updated to be much smoother now than it was then

i do love this phone but you're right, it doesn't feel quite as smooth as the iphone but i think its better everywhere else

so it's "better everywhere else", except when it comes to actually do something on it, it's agonizingly slow and laggy.

that's why you need a ruthless ruler overseeing the project. If i was in charge and got interface that works like they shown in the video I would tell the tech team not to show up again before it's usable. I wish I could have an android phone but it seems yet again I will skip another "revolutionary" model, because of unforgivable usability issues...

the phone is far from revolutionary like the iphone was, and hopefully the standards will be set once again when the 4g comes out. but basically what im saying is this isn't a very good example of using the phone due to it being shown here earlier than the final model. i've used it quite a lot as my friend has one and 98% of the time its slick fast and responsive just as the iphone (the iphone can be quite laggy too in places)

in the iPhone you can't customise it. But in this you can, like most other phones. Thats why iPhone isn't good, and also why people try to jailbreak / hack it. Useless Apple, Ask your customers, not yourself.

If I had to pick a phone right now I'd take the desire. Comparing it to the current iphone is an insult to the desire. I'm not in a hurry. I'll wait for the next iphone. Multitasking seems to be up on the next version, finally. And I hope they finally manage to build in a decent screen with propper resolution. And with windows phone 7 coming this might be an interesting year to get a new smartphone. Comparing the systems based upon the promised features. Android looks most suitable for me.

To all the peeps complaining about it being laggy, keep in mind this is an unreleased model, where 99 percent of the time the firmware isn't ready yet and not finalised for the end product..
