Him being elected as a black president is a push towards a non racist community. It shows more acceptance than what we have had in our nations past. His ability to speak well to the people make him easy to relate to. This is a big point when it comes to policy making, as if someone does not understand what he is saying, they will most likely not form treaties and such.

You can say that again, apparently truth is crossed of his or her list of family values. Obama voted to drop large bombs on terrorists (Afgan war) and worked with Republican Senator Richard Luger on nuclear nonproliferation to keep actual WMDs out of the hands of terrorists.
