What I also like about the Stokkebroes, and this is probably a question of style, is the lightness of their connection. There's no dragging the old mama around the floor; Kristina reacts like flash! pow! zapp! to Peter's lead.

I respect your opinion and it is understandable if you do not find their dancing exciting, especially when compared to Maurizio, Eugene, Riccardo and the lot. Personally, what I admire most about his dancing, and as Bryan Watson pointed out in the video, is that they are so clear and defined in their movements. You can tell the timing of their moves almost to a quarter of a beat, makes you wonder if they are dancing to a slower music than the rest. THAT is their brilliance!!

@gshankaran its the freakishly accurate technique they have some even say they practice and train so accurately that they practice to actual flex of the muscle hahaha.

I LOVE the Stokkebroes.. I think they are really excieting to watch.. Especially now!.. Funny that one week after this comp they were 2nd at the international in london. And Clear 2nd, judged by 11 of some of the best judges in the world!

Unfortunately for u that's exactly what the judges are looking for sharp, precise technique. Not dynamic moves.

yes but you could be the sharpest and have the most technique yet if you're boring the judges could lose interest as well. you dont have to have dynamic moves to win. i didnt say they needed dynamic movements, i meant they arent interesting to watch.

I agree with xoballroom. Actually all the dancers is this final are sharp. However, I've always had something against Peter and Kristina. They are not engaging. I can't explain it though.

yess thank you! i agree totally. everyone is sharp. peter and kristina just dance. i dont see any passion through them. and i know to alot of the competitions i compete in judges look for a little more than sharp movements :]

Sorry friend u're very wrong, I watched this program on American Public Broadcast (PBS), and at the very beginning the host interviews Bryan Watson and his former partner some British chick. I didn't hear her name b/c i was so caught up in seeing & hearing Bryan Watson.

Bryan's commentary helped me understand what the judges are looking for and what they see during the dancing. Which helped me understand Y my favs. don't win, it's just style not substance that is winning me over.

By far the coolest choreography was done by Eugene and Manusova....I love everything that they do..sometimes the timing bothers me. My favorite in the intire Idsf, USADA, and all other..lol
