Islam is a very well understood religion but some folks makes it a very difficult path on purpose !!!. Celebrating the birth of the prophet Mohamed is allowed in Islam in order to celebrate the birth of the prophet of Islam .

In Sahih Bukhari,[ Book of Prayer for Rain] 27 Chapter [what is said about earthquakes n (other) signs of the approaching of the day of Judgement, narrated by Ibn Umar[PBUH]. The Holy Prophet SAW was asked to pray for Sham, Yemen and Najd. He prayed for blessings for Sham and Yemen but not for Najd, saying that there will appear earthquakes and afflictions...[Wahabbis are also referred to as Najdis] [refer HadisNo.980 sahih bukhari.com]

What's wrong with celebrating the Prophet SAW's birthday? I think quite simply it's like the celebration of Prophet Isa AS (Jesus's) birthday. No? They both were Prophets why don't we celebrate Christmas too! That would be soo Islamic (Not)

By celebrating the Prophets birth we are thanking Allah for sending him to us and making us part of his Ummah, we are not from the Ummah of Prophet Issa alayhisallam. At the mawlid we tell the story of his birth, and his lifestory, we recite ayahs from the Quran and mention hadiths ect. They shaykh in the video has given proof from the scholars, he even mentions how ibn taymiyyah, ibn kathir and ad-dhahabiyy all praised this act

@shanipathan When we celebrate Mawlid Naby SAAW we don't do anything like the Christian celebrate X-mast, but we read the Sirah of our beloved Prophet and share food with everyone, we learn the life of the prophet and his family and his close companion. Wahaby (misguided sect, doesn't like people learn about the Prophet). in general it has more beneficial to people who attend. how would you say you love your prophet if you don't know about him and don't want to remember or reminded about him?

Can I get the exact references of ibn Taymiyah, ibn Kathir and the part where they insulted The prophets Mother (wal ^iyadhu billaah) brother. I want to show it to some of my family members who unfortunately have been corrupted by the Wahabi's and constantly argue with us on the issue of Mawlid and saying "Ya Rasullullaah".

like Imaam As Shaafi^iy RahimahuLlah said: there are good bid^ah which leads to guidance and bad bid^ah's which leads to misguidance.

and celebrating Mawlid Nabwi Sallallahu ALaihi Wasallam is a GOOD bid^ah which leads to guidance.

Thanks for the message, just so others know this saying of Imam Shafiyy (that Bida`a is classified as good and bad) was narrated from him by Imam al-Bayhaqi in Manaqib ash-Shafiyy, Abu Nu`aym in Hilyat al-Awliyaa and Imam Nawawi in 2 books 'Tatheeb al-Asma wal-Lugaat and in his commentaries on Sahih Muslim.

Before Imam Shafiyy, Umar ibnul Khattab referred said "What a good innovation (Bida`a) this is" when he gathered the people to perform taraweeh prayers in jamaah -Sahih Bukhari

so when we celebrate Eid Mawlid Nabwi Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam, we do it by remembering Allah's Subhana wata ala gifts that He gave us.

We read the Holy Qur'an, we do Ibadaat and we sent peace and blessings to RasuluLlah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and we remember the holy life of the holy prophet peace be upon him.

and like this DOESNT contradict the Quran Hadith Idjmaa' nor does it contradict the Sunnah of RasuluLlah Sallalhu Alaihi Wasallam.
