the durango is a bad ass vehicle that any one and have fun in. I have a '00 durango with a 4 inch lift, k&N air/oil filters, bullydog performance chip 2, home made exhaust which are used from 4" diesl tubeing. 15" rims with 33s. all leather interior. so its all pimped out. oh i got a new 360 mopar motor coming in and it will hopefully be getting me almost 500hp with some other aftermarket parts. and by the way chevys are the worst vehicles ever, except for the 70-80 modles the rest suck. ok definetly a 5.9 two reasons;

1) ass of the 2001 model year, dodge quit putting the 5.2 (318) magnum v8 in everything but the ram.

2)it's not a 4.7L the 4.7L has a front mounted cross ram air intake, the throtle body would be mounted vertically on the front of the intake.

Procharger is the only way to go with the big 42lb injectors and intercooler about $5,000 for a polished setup well worth it specs say hp gains of 70%, Of you total hp now!!!!! wouldn't go more that a 6 lb pulley

Yeah they make a 5.9 R/T and an SLT R/T is lowered and AWD and the SLT is 2wd with the option of turning from 2wd to 4x4 as opposed to AWD .. Don't Buy a Dodge without a warranty!!!! lol you'll need it
