if u want rock texture you can also burn the foam

Looking Good MAC. I am surprized that the poly foam warped. What kind of glue are you using? As a test, you might want to check out some construction adhesive (comes in a caluk tube). It holds like a vice and is not H20 based.

Anyway, very ambitious project. Best wishes on the build.

Woah, knowing your skills this will surely be one truelly epic fortress! In my humble opinion though the ground-level windows on the tower seem a bit weird. Not a very sturdy fortress if the enemy can just walk in from a window... ;) But anyhow this WILL be awesome - no matter what!

You might want to try hot glue instead of white/wood glue. The propensity of other glues to contract as they dry is going to be problem, heightened given the larger surface area that you are covering. Really excited to see this fortress go up!!! 8-)
