  • Pinkpawsx I also listen Marillion almost every day , I listen to other music , very good music, beautiful songs, but never never like Marillion. I can't help, they just make the music I love most. And that for so many years...

Just curious, which album do you like most ?

  • @broes1966 My favourite Marillion album has to be this Seasons End as it has so many memories & i love all the tracks on it especially the Seasons End!

  • This song is ghostly good. Hell breaks loose in the end...lovely!

  • I still get chills each and every time I hear the transition at 4:16 through 4:49. Wow.

  • Fish couldn't sing as well but at least you knew who was singing. The singing dynamics here are superb, but what a generic voice.

  • @geffel Generic is hardly the term I'd apply to Steve Hogarth. You're correct in your assessment of Derek being unique in sound, but Hogarth has the ring that is quite easy to identify. Perhaps not as unique as Derek's voice, I will give you that. But "generic' is absolute in being incorrect when describing Steve. ;)

  • I've seen them 28 november in Amsterdam, am a fan for 25 years now, they still are amazing, it's almost an addiction to listen to them .....

  • @broes1966 I know what you mean, i have to listen to them at least once a day! I've been a fan since 1985. I just can't get enough of them.

  • Miss Marillion....

  • Never heard this before -I know go on laugh lol- bit it is fantastically atmospheric I love it-MY type of music!

  • 2:08

So much energy, a powerful wave of pure sound blasting my ear.

  • wow, I thought this song was kind of okay, but around 4:45 when H sings "With a wall in our hearts" I was like, holy shit was was that piece of heaven I just heard lol, and the rest of the song was absolutely amazing, brings me back to the Fish Era.

  • One of the best albums ever, along with Marbles and Brave. I think H was better than Fish, maybe because he was actually the first of their singers I listened to, but they are both amazing, and this song is one of the best examples of how Hogarth is every bit as good as Fish.

  • I have to say I am VERY torn over the whole lead singer thing. It was so easy with Fish. With Hogarth, I am so close to liking him, I so much want to and yet...

  • @Anglagard1 The two singers are incomparable. Each has there own talents. I myself am more fond of Hogarth but Fish is great to. Listen to the second section of The Invisable Man from six minutes thirty seconds in for great Hogarth moments. Neverland is great as well, as is anything off Brave.

  • I remember being SO hesitant to go to my first show after Fish left...and being blown away. I love both incarnations of Marillion, and I got chills when they played this one. It is amazing how it starts there in the small confines of her place...then swells into the swirling world, and deadly seriousness...and finally comes back to her small, lonely world of memories.

  • I finaly have to admit Marillion found a fantastic singer and new direction without Fish

  • Fuck yeah!

  • if they gonna play it in berlin? ^^

  • @destruct999 I hope very Much...

  • Marillion is one of the last super-bands...maybe the best. Marillion with Fish was great, but now with H is better... When will be ready the next album...?

You all must buy these albums: "Brave", "Marbles", "Seasons End", "Holidays in Eden", "Anoraknofobia"...All these albums are great!

  • @cmaroman where do i find them? I never see them in record shops here in Ontario.....

  • @edgroove7 try torrents

  • great song, great album, great band

  • I don't know how this band survived the loss of "Fish", but this was probably the best "survival" album since "Back in Black". This 8 minute song goes by like 2 minutes. Whenever art remodels the time-space continuum, I perk up my ears.

  • Another "wow". I need to start buying more of the post-1988 Marillion. Up 'til now, it all been just a few tid-bits of the H era, and mostly the F era. The balance just may be swinging in favor of H.

  • nice song
